Systems and methods are provided for creating and managing a data integration workspace. The workspace may comprise one or more views of data (or datasets) stored in or accessible by the system. Responsive to a modification of the underlying dataset or the rules for using the underlying dataset to generate the model, other related datasets and/or models may be automatically updated accordingly. Templates associated with one or more types of users may be defined. Each template may comprise one or more specific models related to a specific type of user.

A defect comparison interface may include a comparison of a defect item to an issue item. The defect comparison interface may include one or more second visuals indicating similarity of the defect item to the issue item. Based on the user's selection, the defect item may be added to the issue item.

The interactive user interface can be customized and optimized for a classification of users with regular behavior patterns, for example, by displaying a plurality of tiles depicting a subset of data associated with a plurality of data objects. Moreover, a user can select portions of data within an individual tile and propagate the selection automatically through all remaining tiles on the interactive user interface.
