Systems and methods for imaging a target feature of a subject based on the tracked positions of the subject and the target feature are disclosed. According to an aspect, a system includes a scanner configured to image a target feature of a subject. The system includes a mechanism configured to move the scanner. Further, the system includes a subject tracker configured to track positioning of the subject. The system includes a feature tracker configured to track positioning of the target feature. A controller is configured to control the mechanism to move the feature tracker to a position such that the feature tracker is operable to track a position of the target feature. The controller controls the mechanism to move the scanner to a position such that the scanner is operable to image the target feature based on the tracked position of the target feature by the feature tracker.

Systems and methods for imaging a target feature of a subject based on tracked positions of the subject and the target feature

Whole eye optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging systems and related methods are disclosed. According to an aspect, an OCT imaging system includes a source having an associated source arm path. Further, the OCT imaging system includes a reference arm coupled to the source arm. Further, the OCT imaging system includes a sample arm having an associated sample arm path and coupled to the source arm. The sample arm includes at least one optical component configured to simultaneously scan both an anterior and posterior portion of an eye of a subject.

Whole eye optical coherence tomography(OCT) imaging systems and related methods

Systems and methods for eye tracking for motion corrected ophthalmic optical coherence tomography (OCT) are disclosed. According to an aspect, an imaging system includes an eye tracking device configured to determine movement of an eye. The imaging system also includes an OCT apparatus configured to generate OCT images of a retina of the eye. The OCT apparatus includes a scanner operable to be moved for relocating an OCT scan pivot at a pupil plane for image capture and during capture of the OCT images. The imaging system also includes a controller configured to control the scanner to relocate the OCT scan pivot at the pupil plane based on the determined movement of the eye.

Systems and methods for eye tracking for motion corrected ophthalmic optical coherence tomography

A system for obtaining low-angle circumferential optical access to an eye of a subject. The system includes a light source to generate a beam of light; a beam steering mechanism to steer the beam of light a focusing lens to focus the beam of light; and a contact lens to direct the beam of light into the eye of the subject, the contact lens including a tapered reflective surface to direct the beam of light into the eye of the subject.

Systems and methods for obtaining low-angle circumferential optical access to the eye

Methods of reducing motion artifacts in Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) include scanning a sample with a scan pattern to acquire OCT data at a plurality of data locations. The data locations are distributed in the scan pattern across the sample such that at least some spatially adjacent data locations are acquired non-sequentially in time. A profile of the sample corresponding to a sample surface or an aspect of an internal structure of the sample is estimated responsive the OCT data.
