This disclosure details motor vehicles equipped with vehicle exterior components. One or more of the vehicle exterior components can be used both for their primary function when attached to the vehicle and for use as sand ladders when removed from the vehicle. In the first configuration, the vehicle exterior components may be configured as running boards, hood vents, grill inserts, bumper inserts, tailgate inserts, and/or door beams, etc.

Methods and systems are provided for a cooling assembly for a vehicle. In one example, the cooling assembly may be a non-rectangular cooler positioned in a front end of the vehicle with an entry duct continuous with the non-rectangular cooler and arranged upstream of the non-rectangular cooler and an exit duct also continuous with the non-rectangular cooler and arranged downstream of the non-rectangular cooler.

A system includes a vehicle transmission shifter input device; and a computer. The computer includes a processor and a memory, the memory including instructions such that the processor is programmed to detect, via the shifter input device, a user input to shift the vehicle transmission; and generate, a haptic feedback via the shifter input device.
