A water jet assembly includes a faceplate with at least one opening, a housing constructed to cooperate with the faceplate, and a mover disposed within a chamber of the housing. The mover is configured to move between a first position adjacent the at least one opening of the face plate and a second position offset from the faceplate to provide a variable volume within the chamber. The water jet assembly also includes an exciter connected to the housing and configured to transition the mover between the first position and the second position to increase and decrease the volume to move fluid into and out of the chamber via the at least one opening.

Pipeless water jet assembly

A device and method for producing pulsating waves of energy for the massaging effect normally associated with high pressure jet systems in whirlpools, pedicure spas, bathtubs and other medical and non-medical devices. The jet assembly includes no external pipes and unlike 'pipeless' jet assembly systems in use today, does not require disassembly or circulation of chemical cleaning agents to maintain a sanitary condition of the jet assembly.

An x-ray tube includes a frame forming a first portion of a vacuum enclosure, a rotating subsystem shaft positioned within the vacuum enclosure and having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of the rotating subsystem shaft is attached to a first portion of the frame, a target positioned within the vacuum enclosure and attached to the rotating subsystem shaft between the first end and the second end, the target positioned to receive electrons from an electron source positioned within the vacuum enclosure, and a thermal compensator mechanically coupled to the second end of the rotating subsystem shaft and to a second portion of the frame, the thermal compensator forming a second portion of the vacuum enclosure.
