An apparatus for supplying clean fluid to a component in a well may include a filter. The filter may include a housing having an outlet, a conical permeable element disposed at least partially inside the housing, and a tapered helical coil disposed at least partially inside the permeable element. A first opening may be formed at a first axial end of the permeable element, and a second opening may be formed at a second axial end of the permeable element. The apparatus may further include first conduit fluidly coupling the outlet and the component, and a second conduit fluidly coupling the second opening and a tubular of the well.

Provided, in one aspect, is an anchor for use with a downhole tool in a wellbore. The anchor, according to this aspect, may include a base pipe; and one or more expandable chambers positioned radially about the base pipe. The one or more expandable chambers may, in some aspects, be configured to move from a first collapsed state to a second activated state; and the one or more expandable chambers may be operable to handle at least 20.7 Bar of internal pressure in the second activated state to engage a wall of a wellbore.

A downhole shunt tube isolation system having a fluid channel and a piston hydraulic chamber disposed within a valve actuator housing, wherein the fluid channel is sealed via a plug to hydraulically lock a valve in an open position, wherein a gravel slurry is configured to flow from a first tube segment through the valve to a second tube segment when the valve is in the open position. A portion of the plug is displaced to open a fluid path through the plug to the piston hydraulic chamber, wherein opening the fluid path to the piston hydraulic chamber hydraulically unlocks the valve, closing the valve via a biasing force to block the flow of the gravel slurry from a first tube segment through the valve to a second tube segment.

Provided is a fluid flow control device, a well system, and method. The fluid flow control device, in one aspect, includes an inlet port, an outlet port, and a fluid chamber positioned between the inlet and outlet ports. The fluid flow control device, in one aspect, may further include a float positioned within the fluid chamber, the float having a net density that is between a first density of a desired fluid and a second density of an undesired fluid, such that the float may control fluid flow through the fluid flow control device when encountering the desired fluid or undesired fluid. The fluid flow control device, in one aspect, may further include a fluid mixer positioned uphole of the fluid chamber, the fluid mixer configured to receive unmixed or partially mixed fluid and turn it to mixed inlet fluid prior to the mixed inlet fluid encountering the fluid chamber.

Shunt closures with a compensating piston and methods of using the same. An example shunt closure includes a compensator piston disposed between an oil chamber and a piston chamber and configured to translate towards the piston chamber to allow for an increase in the volume of the oil chamber. The shunt closure also includes a piston coupling connected to the compensator piston; wherein a portion of the piston coupling is configured to translate into the piston chamber upon translation of the compensator piston. The shunt closure further includes the piston chamber configured to house a portion of the piston coupling and the oil chamber configured to house an oil. Thermal expansion of the oil applies pressure to the compensator piston. The shunt closure also includes a shunt isolation sleeve coupled to and adjacent to the piston chamber.

Provided is a float for use with a fluid flow control device, a fluid flow control device, a method for manufacturing a fluid flow control device, and a well system. The float, in one aspect, includes a ceramic base material having one or more cavities therein, the ceramic base material and the one or more cavities creating a net density for the float that is between a first density of a desired fluid and a second density of an undesired fluid, such that the float may control fluid flow through a flow control device when encountering the desired fluid or the undesired fluid.

A float equipment assembly includes an inner string that provides a fluid flow path through the float equipment assembly. The float equipment assembly also includes an opening through which a fluid flowing through the inner string exits the float equipment assembly. The float equipment assembly further includes a moveable member, which when repositioned, isolates the inner string. The float equipment assembly further includes a dissolvable material that initially prevents repositioning of the moveable member, where the moveable member is repositioned after a threshold portion of the dissolvable material has dissolved.

A multi-functional well completion apparatus and method of operation thereof that offers the ability, in a single trip and with limited running tool manipulation, to perform downhole completion operations, such as gravel pack operations or sand control frac or other fluid stimulation operations is described. The well completion tool has multiple functions or operational positions by using a self-closing time delay valve without the need of service tools, thereby saving rig time, reducing operating costs and operational risks associated with tripping service tools into and out of a wellbore.

A wellbore downhole tool, comprising: a nozzle assembly, the nozzle assembly includes a nozzle including: a cylindrically-shaped tube with a substantially uniform outer diameter across substantially an entire height of the nozzle, at least one retaining body opening located in an outer wall of the nozzle; a holding body including: a conduit, the conduit sized to fit the nozzle there-through, an alignment opening extending from an outer surface of the holding body to the conduit; and a retaining body sized to fit within the alignment opening of the holding body and to contact the retaining body opening of the nozzle when the nozzle is inserted in the conduit such that the cylindrically-shaped tube of the nozzle cannot rotate or move further in or out of the conduit. A method of assembling the wellbore downhole tool is also described.

A method and apparatus according to which a connection between first and second completion joints is made up. The first and second completion joints each include a base pipe and a shunt tube disposed along the base pipe. The respective base pipes of the first and second completion joints are threadably engaged to form a pin and box connection. The shunt tube of the first completion joint is coupled to the shunt tube of the second completion joint using a jumper tube. The jumper tube is supported at a position longitudinally between the respective shunt tubes of the first and second completion joints using a first support member. In some embodiments, the first support member is longitudinally slidable along the base pipe of the first or second completion joint to the position between the respective shunt tubes of the first and second completion joints.

Methods to dehydrate a gravel pack and to temporarily increase a flow rate of fluid flowing from a wellbore into a conveyance are disclosed. A method to dehydrate gravel pack includes deploying a valve at a location proximate a gravel pack. The valve includes a rupture disk that ruptures in response to a threshold amount of pressure, and reactive fluid that actuates the valve to a closed position. The method also includes providing a fluid flow path from the gravel pack to the conveyance. The method further includes closing the valve after providing the fluid flow path from the gravel pack to the conveyance for a threshold period of time.

Well systems for plugging and unplugging a flow path in a subterranean formation are provided. An example well system comprises a flow path comprising a two-part dissolvable flow-plug. The two-part dissolvable flow-plug comprises a retaining component and a plugging component adjacent to the retaining component. The retaining component comprises a dissolvable material. The flow path is in fluid communication with a tubing. The retaining component is configured to retain the plugging component in a fixed position.

A screen assembly can include a tracer retaining mechanism for retaining a tracer in an annular area defined between a screen portion and a base pipe. The tracer retaining mechanism can be coupled to the screen portion, the base pipe, or the tracer. The tracer retaining mechanism can allow fluid flow in and out of the annular area.

In accordance with some embodiments of the present disclosure, a screened communication connector for a production tubing joint is disclosed. The screened communication connector including a hollow body including a plurality of holes to block particulate material from passing therethrough and allow fluid to pass therethrough. The screened communication connector additionally includes a first axial end of the hollow body including a first seal member for creating a particle tight seal between the first axial end and a first screen joint. The screened communication connector additionally includes a second axial end of the hollow body, the second axial end including a second seal member for creating a particle tight seal between the second axial end and a second screen joint.
