An RF-shielded window apparatus may include a primary panel and a secondary panel. The primary panel may include a primary RF shield layer disposed between a primary backing substrate and a protective layer. The secondary panel may include a secondary backing substrate and a secondary RF shield layer. The first panel element and the second panel element may be secured to one another such that the primary RF shield layer, the secondary RF shield layer and the protective layer are collectively disposed between the primary backing substrate and the secondary backing substrate. The primary RF shield layer and the secondary RF shield layer may be in electrically-conductive communication with one another. A panel joining strip may help secure the first panel to the second panel, and the electrically-conductive communication may be at least in part by way of the panel joining strip. Associated manufacturing methods are also disclosed.

A Faraday enclosure apparatus may include one or more sewn seam portions constructed to prevent signal leakage through stitch apertures in the seam. A vestibule section facilitates signal-shielded movement of electronic devices between the ambient environment and the main cavity of the enclosure. A connector filter may be mounted to extend through a wall of the enclosure to manage wired power and signal communications entering and exiting the main cavity of the enclosure. Foldable side walls facilitate the collapsibility of the enclosure for compact transport and storage.

Faraday enclosure apparatus and method of manufacturing same

An exemplary faraday bag with magnetic closure system includes an actuatable closure section defined between a shielding compartment and an access mouth. The closure section preferably includes a retention segment, a distal flap segment, and an intermediate flap segment therebetween. Base magnets are disposed within the retention segment and a first panel of the bag. Flap magnets are disposed within the distal flap segment and a second panel of the bag. When the closure section is in open configuration, the flap magnets are substantially out of attractive magnetic engagement with respective base magnets, and the shielding compartment is accessible from an ambient environment through the access mouth. When the closure section is in closed configuration, the flap and retention segments are folded with respect to one another, the flap magnets are in attractive magnetic engagement with respective base magnets, and the access mouth is thereby retained in an RF-sealed configuration.

Faraday bag with magnetic closure system

An exemplary electromagnetic shielded dry bag with magnetic closure system includes an outer bag, an inner shielding liner, and a pair of embedding strips having magnets embedded therein. The outer bag is preferably comprised of water-proof material and has a fluid-sealed floor portion and an access mouth disposed oppositely thereof. First and second bag panels are disposed oppositely of one another and extend from the floor portion to the access mouth. The inner shielding liner is comprised of electromagnetic shielding material and defines an electromagnetic shielding compartment within the bag. The embedding strips are secured to respective bag panels. This securement may be by way of heat fusing of respective securement elements to the inner faces, thereby forming pockets with which the strips reside. When the closure section is magnetically retained in closed configuration, the access mouth is thereby retained in an RF-sealed and fluid-sealed configuration to protect the shielding compartment.

Bag with pouch for storage of a mobile electronic device

A glove assembly is provided for coupling an electrically-conductive glove to an enclosure wall of a radio frequency shielded enclosure. Exemplary embodiments of the glove assembly and associated shielded enclosure comprise a glove interface element, a glove and a glove securement element. The glove interface element has a cylindrical flange member, a wall securement portion extending laterally of the flange member, and a glove port extending through the flange member. The glove interface element is configured to be affixed to the enclosure wall. The glove securement element is configured to clampingly secure an open end of the glove to the flange member in mutual RF-signal-sealed engagement. Resultingly, the glove is also held in electrically-conductive communication with the shielding layer of the shielded enclosure by way of the glove interface element. The glove securement element is preferably actuatable to enable a user to selectively cause and release the clamped securement.

Conductive glove coupling assembly for shielded enclosures

An electromagnetic interference shield enclosure with an extended edge defining a sleeve, the enclosure and sleeve having an outer protective layer and an inner shielding layer to shield electronic devices from electromagnetic interference. The outer layer and inner layer may be transparent to view the electronic device. A magnet system may be provided to allow the device to be operated while in the enclosure. The auxiliary cable with filtering mechanisms may be provided inside the sleeve to allow access and transfer of data from the electronic device while still in the enclosure.

Portable electromagnetic interference shield

An electromagnetic interference shield having a main enclosure and at least one auxiliary enclosure. The auxiliary enclosure in the main enclosure and an interior that is continuous with each other. The auxiliary enclosure is made of elastic Faraday material. The outer layer and inner layer may be transparent to view the electronic device. An auxiliary cable with filtering mechanisms may be provided inside a sleeve to allow access and transfer of data from the electronic device while still in the main enclosure.
