When a user accesses a seller webpage for an item for which expedited shipping is available, data regarding this access is provided to a separate fulfillment service that is able to deliver the item. A control on the webpage, that may be provided to the seller by the fulfillment service, presents an initial estimated delivery time based on the network address of the user's device and a known location of the item. The user may provide input to the control to access a user account, and a location for the user account may be used to update the estimated delivery time. If the item is purchased, the fulfillment service may determine payment information for the user account and process payment and delivery of the item. If an additional item not fulfilled by the fulfillment service is also purchased, data for this purchase is provided to the seller website for processing.

Systems for determining purchase fulfillment options

A seller provides customers with the ability to order items using shipping benefits associated with a separate fulfillment entity, such as an online store, by providing inventory to a designated fulfilment location. When a customer accesses the webpage, identifiers for the customer device and item are used to determine an estimated delivery time the separate fulfillment entity may provide, which may be presented in a widget or other type of element within the webpage. In response to input to the element, the customer may be presented with a prompt for authentication data, and after a successful authentication, the estimated delivery time may be updated based on a location of the authenticated customer. In response to input confirming the transaction, an order for the item is generated by the separate fulfillment entity and the customer may continue navigating the seller website.

Systems for enabling access to a shipping benefit from seller content

This disclosure describes techniques for resolving discrepancies that occur to interrelated computing resources from computing resource drift. Users may describe computing resources in an infrastructure template. However, computing resource drift occurs when 'out-of-band' modifications are made to the computing resources and are not reflected in the infrastructure template. To resolve discrepancies between the infrastructure template and the out-of-band modifications to the computing resources, a notification may be output to a user account associated with the computing resources detailing the differences. An updated infrastructure template may be received that resolves the differences, such as by including configuration settings that reflect a current state of the computing resources. The computing resources may then execute a workflow using the updated template, such that the workflow is executed on all of the computing resources in a current state.

Resolving configuration drift for computing resource stacks

This disclosure describes techniques for testing and publishing of resource handlers in a cloud environment. For example, a code-development interface may be utilized to generate initial code for the building of resource handlers. The initial code may be verified and the resource handlers may be built and deployed to a test platform. One or more execution tests may be run on the resource handlers in the test platform to determine if the resource handlers execute successfully. The resource type associated with the resource handlers may be published to a registry service and the resource type may be made available for provisioning.

Testing and publishing of resource handlers in a cloud environment

A resource management system of a computing resource service provider supports the provisioning of multiple identical or substantially similar virtual computing resource instances using a single resource definition by creating a resource set entity to which the provisioned instances belong. The resource management system controls the provisioning based on a template containing the resource definition and designed to service a situation where the intent is to create a group of similar or closely-related resources. The group of instances (i.e., items in the resource set) can be dimensioned by specifying the size of the set, or by mapping the set to another set of keys associated with a different context. A resource set definition in the template can include a program expression that the system evaluates to produce a list of the keys, and the instances may be created based on the number of keys and their associated values.

This disclosure describes techniques for centralizing the management of computing resources that are provisioned across multiple service provider networks by infrastructure modeling services. A service provider network may host or provide a centralized management service that supports an open source framework that provides users, or developers, with a unified development interface to manage computing resources that are provisioned in different service provider networks. The unified development interface of the host service provider network may provide users with a meta schema or language format to create infrastructure schemas for modeling, provisioning, and operating computing resources across service provider networks that are managed by different service providers. Additionally, the host service provider network may provide an open provider registry where developers of infrastructure schemas may store and publish infrastructure schemas for the different service provider networks to share computing resource types with other developers or users of cloud-based services.
