A combination for illuminating the interior of a building comprises a fixture and a retrofit kit. The fixture has a base attached to a building ceiling, the fixture having a first tombstone, and a second tombstone. The first and second tombstones are configured to receive between them a fluorescent light tube. The retrofit kit is connected to the base. The retrofit kit includes a light panel, the light panel having a first side facing the fixture and an opposite second side. The light panel resides between the first tombstone and the second tombstone, and the fixture resides above the light panel. The combination is devoid of a fluorescent light tube. The base and the light panel define between them a raceway. A light emitting diode is disposed on the second side of the light panel.

Ceiling light LED retrofit kit

A retrofit kit for mounting with a ceiling light fixture having a base with a first side for facing a ceiling and an opposite side, the fixture having first and second tombstones configured to receive therebetween a linear fluorescent light tube. The retrofit kit has first and second ends, first and second profiles, and a light panel disposed between the first and second profiles. The light panel has a first side for facing the second side of the base of the light fixture and an opposite second side comprising a light emitting diode. The light panel, the first profile, and the second profile extend longitudinally from the first retrofit kit end to the second retrofit kit end and the light panel, the first profile, and the second profile extend longitudinally from proximate the first tombstone to proximate the second tombstone.

A ceiling light LED retrofit kit is provided. The kit is configured for attachment to an existing, installed linear fluorescent tube lighting fixture. The kit includes a light panel, a first profile extending along a first longitudinal side of the existing fluorescent light fixture, and a second profile extending along a second longitudinal side of an existing light fixture. The retrofit kit light panel includes light emitting diodes. A raceway may be defined between the retrofit kit and the previously-installed fixture, in which wiring and other components may reside away from you.

A system for monitoring the amount of refrigerant supplied from a refrigerant tank to a plurality of refrigerant systems comprising a tank valve for connection to a refrigerant tank at a predetermined location. A rack of refrigerant rack lines is routed from the location to the refrigerant systems for connecting the tank valve and refrigerant to the refrigerant systems. Rack valves are disposed in the refrigerant rack lines for controlling the flow of refrigerant through the rack lines to a selected refrigerant system. A sensor for determining the amount of refrigerant supplied from the refrigerant tank to a refrigerant system and recording the supplied amount of refrigerant. The system controller controls the rack valves and tank valve to selectively connect the supply of refrigerant in the refrigerating tank with a selected refrigerant system so that the amount of refrigerant delivered to the refrigerant system is recorded by the system controller.

Refrigerant monitoring system and method

A power control system is disclosed for controlling the power supplied to a lighting system and limiting power during time of peak demands and the like wherein the lighting system includes a power source and a lighting load connected to the power source. The control system comprises a main transformer having a first winding and a second winding, the first winding being connected between the power source and the lighting load. An autotransformer connected to the power source having a plurality of electrical transformer taps with prescribed voltage values. A plurality of solid-state tap switches is connected to the transformer taps and to the second winding of the main transformer to apply the prescribed voltage values across the second winding. A system controller has an input for receiving a voltage change signal representing a selected load voltage to be applied to the lighting load. The controller is connected to the tap switches for selectively closing one of the tap switches to produce said prescribed voltage value across the second winding of the main transformer whereby the selected load voltage is output across the first winding of the main transformer and applied to the lighting load without interruption of the lighting. A transient control circuit is connected across an output of the tap switches for dissipating transient currents during switching of tap switches.
