Systems and method for providing an application chatbot that provides a conversational interface that receives natural language input from an application user, interprets the user's intent, and uses application-related context for generating and providing a contextually accurate response in a conversation with the user. In some examples, the application chatbot determines an action to perform corresponding to the response and provides an option to perform the action in the conversational user interface. A selection of the option causes the action to be performed.

Increasing security and reducing technical confusion through conversational browser

A system identifies and alerts a user to websites that are new to the web, for example, based on a purchase date, a transfer of ownership date, network traffic to the website, a reputation of the website, and/or appearance of the website in search results. An alert may be provided before, during and/or after a user navigates to a website. An alert may be provided for a displayed website. One or more alerts may be provided for one or more links to websites in a displayed webpage, such as search engine results. One or more alerts may be provided for one or more links to websites shown in a history or list of recently visited websites. A new to the web label may alert a user to consider whether a website is malicious, aiding a user's determination whether to navigate away from or to avoid navigating to new websites.

System, method and computer program product for alerting users to websites new to the web

Disclosed herein is a system configured to collect and maintain user data within a first party silo while allowing third party data consumers to use the user data in accordance with explicit input from users. The system provides a user with transparency and control with regard to data use by displaying graphical user interfaces configured to receive input indicating whether the user allows or prevents third party data consumers to use his or her data. The system exposes an API that enables the third party data consumers to submit a data query. The system uses the data query to internally analyze a user data set. User data is included in the user data set in accordance with the input. The system is configured to provide, via the API, a result of the analysis to the third party data consumer that submitted the data query without providing the user data set.

Secured use of private user data by third party data consumers

Security mitigation techniques are presented to protect a user device or a user thereof from attackers, especially in instances when they are most at risk. In an example embodiment, one or more mitigation actions may be performed when it is determined that a website is unsecured and a network with which the user device is connected is open Wi-Fi. The mitigation action may include generating a visual warning in a graphical user interface (GUI) of a web browser that is displaying the website, preventing the transmission of sensitive information, halting execution of scripts and resources of inactive web browser tabs or when there is a change in network connection, or not allowing execution of scripts or resources when the website is unsecured. In another example embodiment, transmission of sensitive information is prevented from being transmitted by an application over an open Wi-Fi network.
