Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture are disclosed to display acquisition paths. An example apparatus includes a display handler to, in response to a directional condition of an autonomous vehicle satisfying a threshold, render an acquisition path for the autonomous vehicle, the acquisition path specifying a route along which the autonomous vehicle is to travel to acquire a guidance path; and a vehicle condition controller to, in response to determining that a real time display criterion is satisfied, redetermine whether the directional condition of the autonomous vehicle satisfies the threshold to cause the display handler to re-render the acquisition path.

Methods, apparatus, and articles of manufacture to display acquisition paths

A device detects a trigger to dispense a product at a using a tool operably coupled to a tractor. The device determines whether the tractor is in an automated mode, the automated mode enabling autonomous speed and direction navigation of the tractor. Responsive to determining that the tractor is not in the automated mode, the device determines whether the tool is in a ready state, and responsive to determining that the tool is in the ready state, commands the tool to dispense the product, wherein the tool is not commanded to dispense the product until the tool is in the ready state. Responsive to determining that the tractor is in the automated mode, the device commands the tool to dispense the product without determining whether the tool is in the ready state.

Predictive technique for dispensing product from tractor tool

Systems and methods are provided for guidance and/or automation of work vehicles operating within defined work areas. Initially, a first (e.g., figure eight) turn type is selected at least to transition between first and second parallel paths across the work area for reciprocal traverse thereof, further for optimizing a footprint with respect to at least an alternative second (e.g., U-turn) turn type. Responsive to said selection, a first turn plan is generated along with associated output signals for the first turn type relative to contours of the defined work area. Sequence points for the turn may be generated based on determined work coverage. If the work vehicle is determined unable to complete the generated first turn plan for the first turn type, based on detected work vehicle conditions relative to contours of the work area, a second turn plan is instead automatically generated and performed for the second turn type.

Work vehicle guidance and/or automation of turns with respect to a defined work area

Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to generate a path plan. An example method includes generating guidance lines for a next path of a vehicle based on an edge of a current path, generating a first path plan of a field within a field boundary, the first path plan generated using a first degree heading, generating a second path plan of the field within the field boundary, the second path plan generated using a second degree heading, and when the first path plan includes a first cost lower than a second cost of the second path plan, transmitting the first path plan to a vehicle to control the vehicle.

Methods and apparatus to generate a path plan

An agricultural system automatically detects a turn pattern and automatically identifies a next path that will be taken through the field. The agricultural system automatically controls the machine through the next turn that navigates the machine from a current path to the identified next path. This continues until a land size has been completed at which point the agricultural system identifies a next land in a field.

Automated turn patterns in an agricultural harvester

An agricultural harvester includes a cutting head configured to harvest an agricultural material, a transfer mechanism configured to transfer the harvested agricultural material from the agricultural harvester, and a fill management system. The fill management system is configured to provide open-loop control of an automated transfer of the agricultural material from the agricultural harvester. The fill management system includes a controller, a user interface module coupled to the controller and configured to receive user input indicative of a selected nudge direction, and a wireless communication module coupled to the fill management system and configured to communicate wirelessly with a receiving vehicle. The wireless communication module is configured to obtain storage dimensions relative to the receiving vehicle from the receiving vehicle. At least one sensor is operably coupled to the transfer mechanism and provides a sensor signal that is indicative of flow of the agricultural material through the transfer mechanism. The controller is configured to automatically generate relative positional adjustments between the agricultural harvester and the receiving vehicle based on the signal indicative of flow through the transfer mechanism and the storage dimensions relative to the receiving vehicle.
