A decorative lighting system for a vehicle comprises a microprocessor controller; an integrated circuit having the microcontroller connected therein and connectable to a power source; a plurality of light-emitting diodes connected in the circuit; a housing hermetically enclosing the microcontroller, integrated circuit, and plurality of light-emitting diodes, the housing including one or more layers of resin material containing a fluorescent compound responsive to light selected from ultraviolet, near ultraviolet and combinations thereof; and an adhesive connector positioned on an exterior surface of the decorative light. The plurality of light-emitting diodes is capable of generating light containing one or more visible wavelengths, ultraviolet light, near ultraviolet light and combinations thereof responsive to a control signal from the microcontroller.

Decorative lamp and lighting system for vehicles

Described is an apparatus for a motion activated decorative light connectable to a predetermined article. A housing connects the light to the article. A power source is positioned within the housing for energizing a light source. A switch is connected to the power source and to the light source so as to energize the light source responsive to motion. The housing comprises a material which allows light from the light source to shine through so that it may be seen by a person observing the moving vehicle, and preferably includes a fluorescent material excited by an LED which emits ultraviolet light. The light may comprise an ornamental shape for forming a visually perceptible light image when the light source is energized.

Motion activated decorative light

A toy comprises generally spherical translucent housing having an inner cavity and at least one opening positioned to provide an outlet from the inner cavity, a power source positioned within the housing, an electrical circuit connected to the power source, a light source connected to the power source through the electrical circuit, and a switch connected in the electrical circuit, wherein an amount of a scent-producing material is positioned in the inner cavity of the housing so as to release a scent through the outlet opening. Also included is an entertainment device including a housing having a cavity and at least one opening positioned to provide an outlet from the cavity, a power source, an electrical circuit, a stimulator selected from a light source, a sound source, and a combination thereof, the stimulator connected to the power source through the electrical circuit, and a switch connected in the electrical circuit.

An apparatus and method for a bicycle lamp includes a plurality of light sources; a source of power; an electrical circuit connecting the source of power with the plurality of light sources; at least one switch connected in the electrical circuit; a diffuser positioned adjacent at least one individual light source of the plurality of light sources, the diffuser including translucent resilient material supported on a helical coil defining a central passageway extending through the diffuser, the diffuser passageway being of sufficient dimension to accept a bicycle tube therethrough; a housing coupled to the diffuser, the housing having a housing passageway extending therethrough, wherein the housing passageway is generally complementary to and aligned with the diffuser passageway so as to provide a continuous opening through the bicycle lamp; and a reflector adjustably connected to the housing spaced apart from the housing passageway.

Bicycle lamp

An apparatus and method for a motion activated wheel light for a vehicle wheel having an air valve stem. A housing connects the light to the wheel's air valve stem. A power source is positioned within the housing for energizing a light source. A switch is connected to the power source and to the light source so as to energize the light source responsive to rotational motion of the wheel. The housing comprises a material which allows light from the light source to shine through so that it may be seen by a person observing the moving vehicle. The wheel light may comprise a shape for forming a visually perceptible light image when the light source is energized by the motion of the vehicle wheel.
