An adhesive label is configured to be wrapped around an apparatus and to outline a predetermined image having first and second components. A first facestock has opposite first and second edges that come into proximity with one another when the label is wrapped around the apparatus. The first edge includes first contours that outline the first component of the predetermined image, and the second edge includes second contours that outline the second component. A multilayer sheet assembly comprises the adhesive label, wherein the first facestock inner surface includes a lined portion that is covered by a release liner, and an unlined portion that is not covered by the release liner. The sheet assembly further comprises a second facestock that covers at least some of the unlined portion of the first facestock inner surface, and is adhered thereto using an adhesive.

A foldable paper sheet is formed having a sheet body portion, a sheet lower side flap extending out from a lower side edge of the sheet body portion, a pocket panel extending out from a bottom edge of the sheet body portion, and a pocket side flap extending out from a side edge of the pocket panel. The pocket side flap is folded in towards the pocket panel, the pocket panel is folded up and the pocket side flap is glued to the back face of the sheet body portion. The sheet lower side flap is folded and glued to the pocket panel. The pocket panel is thereby secured along both side edges to the sheet body portion, has an open top and thus defines a pocket on the back of the sheet body portion. The pocket panel can have a finger notch at the center of its top edge. A tab is cut out of the edge portion of the sheet body portion to form a tabbed divider sheet. The tab advantageously can be formed at any location along the edge portion including at a lower location directly adjacent to the pocket. Binder holes were punched in the paper preferably during an early production step of the foldable paper sheet. Binder holes in the pocket panel, the side edge flap and the sheet body portion are in alignment with the foldable paper sheet folded and glued. Two of the binder holes in the body portion are spaced above the pocket, and to reinforce these holes the sheet includes an upper side flap. This flap also has two binder holes which with the flap folded onto and glued to the back of the body portion align with the two body portion holes.

Tabbed divider and pocket construction

A multilayer index tab label insert sheet assembly with removable tab label inserts. An exemplary label insert sheet includes a face stock having a plurality of foldable tab label inserts, a release coated backing sheet generally coextensive with the face stock sheet, a pressure sensitive adhesive coating between the face stock sheet and the release coated backing sheet to secure those sheets together, and a patterned varnish coating underneath the index tab label inserts to allow the label inserts to be readily removed from the release coated backing sheet.

An improved index divider label application kit that includes at least one set of divider sheets and at least one set of precut labels removably attached to carrier strips which are removably secured to a backing sheet. The divider sheets have outwardly extending tabs vertically offset from one another for receiving the precut labels. The precut labels are spaced apart on the carrier strips to align substantially with the tabs on the divider sheets. A user may (1) separate a carrier strip and precut labels affixed to that carrier strip from the backing sheet, (2) place and align the carrier strip across the divider sheets such that the precut labels are placed on the tabs of the divider sheets, and (3) pull the carrier strip upwardly and away from the divider sheets such that the precut labels separate from the carrier strip and remain on the divider tabs.
