An example method of detecting repetitive patterns of user interface actions comprises: defining a set of overlapping shingles on a sequence of user interface events; grouping the shingles into a plurality of shingle clusters based on a chosen shingle similarity metric; selecting a shingle cluster having a maximum, among the plurality of shingle clusters, value of a chosen intra-shingle similarity metric; and identifying a repetitive user interface operation represented by the selected shingle cluster.

An example method of automatic generation of templates for information extraction comprises receiving, by a computer device, a first text fragment, comprising a first identifier of a first text token, wherein the first token comprises one or more words in a natural language and wherein the first token references a first information object from a first category of information objects; displaying, using a template-generating graphical user interface, a plurality of linguistic characteristics of the first token; receiving, via the template-generating graphical user interface, a first input identifying template attributes from the plurality of the linguistic characteristics of the first information object; generating a first template based at least in part on the identified template attributes; creating a first production rule for the first template; applying the first production rule to portions of a first natural language text matching the first template; displaying, using the template-generating graphical user interface, a second information object identified in the first natural language text using the first production rule.

System and method of automatic template generation

A method for pre-recognition processing of forms with non-fixed fields. One or more objects that are present on a form can be reliably identified after conversion of the form into an electronic state. Objects are preliminarily assigned to act as reference points for spatial binding of data input fields or groups thereof. In the case of a text object as a reference point, text recognition is additionally performed. The spatial location of a reference point may be not fixed. A reference point may be described as alternative. Field identification may be performed either automatically or manually.
