A method for multiple repeater aggregation includes (a) receiving, at a first node of a wireless communication network, wireless communication signals from a second node of the wireless communication network via a plurality of wireless communication paths, where each of the wireless communication paths includes a respective radio frequency (RF) repeater, and (b) selecting one of the plurality of wireless communication paths for use in transferring data between the first node of the wireless communication network and the second node of the wireless communication network, at least partially based on measured conditions of the plurality of wireless communication paths.

Systems and methods for multiple repeater aggregation

A method for variable time division duplex (TDD) data allocation in a communication network including a donor wireless communication node and a plurality of child wireless communication nodes. The method includes (a) determining a highest traffic child wireless communication node of the plurality of child wireless communication nodes, the highest traffic child wireless communication node having a highest data transmission requirement of the plurality of child wireless communication nodes, and (b) allocating data in first TDD data frames to be transmitted between the donor wireless communication node and a first child wireless communication node of the plurality of child wireless communication nodes according to a first data frame allocation, the first data frame allocation including allocating an on-demand portion of the first TDD data frames to data associated with the highest traffic child wireless communication node.

Systems and methods for variable time division duplex data allocation

A client-side electronic device includes a receiver, a processor, and a memory. The receiver communicates with a message server over a communication medium of a communication network. The memory stores computer-executable instructions, which, when executed by the processor, cause the device to receive, from the message server, a broadcast message, a timestamp associated with the broadcast message, and a first digital signature of the broadcast message and a second digital signature of the timestamp. The executed instruction further cause the device to verify an integrity of the broadcast message based the first or second digital signatures, determine a freshness of the broadcast message based on the received timestamp, calculate a trust state of the broadcast message based on the integrity verification and the freshness determination, and store the broadcast message in the memory along with the calculated trust state.

Systems and methods for protecting cellular network messages

Systems and methods implement Data-Over-Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS) time protocol (DTP) calibration. A testing laboratory measures a DTP timing error for a test configuration representative of a DOCSIS network to determine DTP calibration data. The DTP calibration data is stored in association with a DTP calibration testing setup of the DOCSIS network in a DTP calibration platform. An operational cable modem termination system (CMTS) conforming to the DTP calibration testing setup retrieves and applies the DTP calibration data from the DTP calibration platform based on the DTP calibration testing setup.

Multi-access gateways with intelligent convergence (MAGIC gateways) for use on client premises intelligently distribute user equipment network traffic to/from a plurality of Internet service providers (ISPs), without any change on the ISP network side. Use of a MAGIC gateway improves network reliability by providing redundancy and distributing traffic to those ISPs that provide the best service parameters for the type of traffic being transmitted.

A communications network includes a central communication unit, an optical transport medium, and a plurality of remote radio base stations. The central communication unit generates, within a selected millimeter-wave frequency band, a plurality of adjacent two-tone optical frequency conjugate pairs. Each conjugate pair includes a first optical tone carrying a modulated data signal, and a second optical tone carrying a reference local oscillator signal. The optical transport medium transports the plurality of two-tone conjugate pairs to the plurality of radio base stations, and each base station receives at least one conjugate pair at an optical front end thereof. The optical front end separates the first optical tone from the second optical tone, and converts the first optical tone into a millimeter-wave radio frequency electrical signal. The base station further includes a radio antenna system for wirelessly transmitting the millimeter-wave radio frequency electrical signal to at least one wireless receiving device.

A cross-scheduling resource allocation method for NOMA-based DSS is provided for a first wireless technology carrier and a different second wireless technology carrier co-existing on a same network communication channel. The method includes providing a resource subframe the first carrier within the channel at a specified bandwidth and duration, synchronizing the second wireless carrier to the specified duration within the specified bandwidth, allocating first PRBs within a first portion of the specified bandwidth for the first technology user traffic and second PRBs within a second non-overlapping portion of the specified bandwidth for the second technology user traffic, programming a frequency gap between the first PRBs and the second PRBs, obtaining channel information regarding the target communication channel, and dynamically adjusting the programmed frequency gap based on the obtained channel information.

Systems and methods provide for use of spectrum emission masks to allow for two or more devices to coexist on a common communication bandwidth. The spectrum emission masks may include one, two, or three interior attenuation regions that, when implemented by a transmitting device, significantly reduce the transmission power in the interior attenuation regions. The interior attenuation regions may transmit to interior channels that separate one, two, or three outer channels of a plurality of channels spanning the common communication bandwidth.

Systems and method for wireless communication over a common wireless bandwidth

A telecommunication radio frequency channel evaluation tool, software and method of creating the tool are disclosed. The tool identifies restrictions associated with incumbent users of spectral bandwidth within a shared spectrum and assesses channel availability for third party transmitters in the shared spectrum. Generally, the tool comprises a database of incumbent users' locations and corresponding protection areas within a geographic area, population density within the geographic area, and restrictions on third party transmissions associated with each of the incumbent users.

A method for transmitting data via a coaxial electrical cable includes (a) converting symbols of each input data stream of a plurality of parallel input data streams from digital form to analog form, (b) individually filtering symbols of each input data stream, (c) transforming symbols of each input data stream from a first frequency-domain to a first time-domain, to generate parallel first time-domain samples, (d) converting the first time-domain samples to a serial multi-carrier signal, and (e) injecting the multi-carrier signal onto the coaxial electrical cable.
