A digital watermarking system and method are disclosed. In one respect, the disclosed digital watermarking includes generating an extracted signal by applying a watermark extractor to an original image, generating a mixed signal by mixing the first signal with a periodic watermark signal using a local weighting factor for the periodic watermark signal that attenuates a strength of the watermark signal in proportion to a pixel luminance level, and replacing the extracted signal in the original image with the mixed signal to generate a marked image, wherein the watermark signal is extractable from the marked image using the watermark extractor.

System and method for digital watermarking

Methods, systems and devices for securely transferring digital data from a first repository to a second repository are disclosed. Per at least one embodiment, a second repository is identified with a human recognizable identifier and an internal identifier associated with such second repository is determined. When a data transfer is desired, a work order associating the data to be transferred and identifying the second repository based on each of the human identifier and the internal identifier is generated. Such work order is utilized by a data port device to open normally closed communications port to accomplish the transfer of the data to the second repository when the identity of such second repository is confirmed by the data port device. A data integrity check confirms that only the designated to be transferred data was actually transferred to the second repository designated in the work order.

Devices, methods and systems for secure data transfers

Systems, apparatus and methods are provided for the real-time positional manipulation of stereoscopic (3D) subtitles in a stereoscopic viewing environment. A stereoscopic subtitling workstation is provided for creating stereoscopic subtitling content for use with stereoscopic video content in which stereoscopic subtitling content can be manipulated and adjusted in real-time in a stereoscopic viewing environment to set the desired viewing position and appearance parameters for the stereoscopic subtitling content. The stereoscopic subtitling workstation may further automatically analyze the stereoscopic video content and automatically generate optimal viewing parameters for the stereoscopic subtitling content, including its 3D offset, according to desired appearances and interaction between such content. The automatically generated stereoscopic subtitling content parameters could then use the real-time manipulation features of the workstation to further fine tune the automatically generated stereoscopic subtitling content parameters.
