A method of mesoscopic photogrammetry can be carried out using a set of images captured from a camera on a mobile computing device. Upon receiving the set of images, the method generates a composite image, which can include applying homographic rectification to warp all images of the set of images onto a common plane; applying a rectification model to undo perspective distortion in each image of the set of images; and applying an undistortion model for adjusting for camera imperfections of a camera that captured each image of the set of images. A height map is generated co-registered with the composite image, for example, by using an untrained CNN whose weights/parameters are optimized in order to optimize the height map. The height map and the composite image can be output for display.

Feature-free photogrammetric 3D imaging with cameras under unconstrained motion

A plano-concave optical layer is fabricated based on an optical-mechanical fit profile. A concave-side of the plano-concave optical layer and a base curvature provide an optical power that matches the optical power from prescription lenses of eyeglasses.

A volumetric depth image is captured. The volumetric depth image includes a front surface of a prescription lens, a back surface of the prescription lens, and a cornea of an eye of a wearer of the prescription lens. Lens-to-eye data is determined from the volumetric depth image. The lens-to-eye data includes measurements of the prescription lens with respect to the eye. A three-dimensional (3D) optical-mechanical fit profile is generated or the wearer based on the lens-to-eye data.

A distortion profile is based on user lens data and a selected optical-mechanical profile of a selected head mounted device. The user lens data is associated with prescription lenses worn by the user. A prescription optical layer is fabricated based on the distortion profile for the selected head mounted device.

Sensor data is captured with a sensor. The sensor data includes a lens-position of a prescription lens relative to a reference point of an optical coherence tomography (OCT) system. A mirror of a reference arm of the OCT system is positioned at an optical pathlength between an eye region of the prescription lens based at least in part on the sensor data. An OCT signal is generated while the mirror is positioned at the optical pathlength. At least one depth profile is generated that includes the prescription lens and the eye region.

Lens fitting metrology with optical coherence tomography

Systems and methods for imaging based on multiple cross-sectional images acquired at different angles are disclosed. According to an aspect, multiple cross-sectional images of an object are acquired at different angles. The method also includes registering the acquired cross-sectional images. Further, the method includes reconstructing an enhanced resolution image of the object based on the registered images. As a result of registering the images, a distortion map is generated that is coregistered with the high-resolution image. The method also includes displaying an image of the object based on the enhanced resolution image and the distortion map.
