An optical scanning system adapted to scan a sample on a chip is provided. The optical scanning system includes at least one optical scanning head, at least one scanning light source, a light receiving device and a processor. Each of at least one optical scanning head includes a focusing light source, a first optical guiding structure, and a control unit. The first optical guiding structure is configured to guide the focusing light emitted from the focusing light source to travel to the sample, and the first optical guiding structure is configured to guide the at least one scanning light emitted from the at least one scanning light source to the sample to generate a secondary light. The control unit is configured to control the first optical guiding structure to keep the focusing light and at least one scanning light focusing on a surface of the chip. The light receiving device receives the secondary light and generates a scanning electronic signal. The processor is electrically coupled to the light receiving device to dispose the scanning electronic signal.

Dynamic focusing confocal optical scanning system

An apparatus for detecting an object capable of emitting light. The apparatus includes a light source and a waveguide. The waveguide includes a core layer and a first cladding layer. At least one nanowell is formed in at least the first cladding layer. The apparatus further includes a light detector. The light detector can detect a light emitted from a single molecule object contained in the at least one nanowell.

A diagnostic equipment having an auto-focusing function comprising a image detection device, a first scanning device, a mobile optical lens assembly, a focusing detection device and a first splitter assembly is provided. The image detection device comprises a first light source and a first photo detector. The first light source provides a first incident light and the first incident light incident to an object and becomes a first signal light. The first photo detector is for receiving the first signal light. The first scanning device is for adjusting a path of the first incident light and to scan the object. The mobile optical lens assembly has a lens and a mobile platform. The first splitter assembly is for transmitting the first and the second signal light to the first and the second photo detector, respectively.

Auto-focusing diagnostic equipment

A fiber-type image capturing apparatus includes a fiber optic, an optical rotating module, an outer tube, an air inlet hole, and an air outlet hole. The optical rotating module is connected to one end of the fiber optic and has a light forward exit and a light lateral exit. The optical rotating module further includes a stator, a rotor, and a light path selector. The stator is fixed correspondingly to the fiber optic. The rotor has a fan blade which is pivotally connected to the stator. The light path selector is installed at the rotor and has a forward scanning path and a lateral scanning path. The outer tube fixes the fiber optic and the optical rotating module. The air inlet hole is disposed at the outer tube and feeds the fan blade with air. The air outlet hole is disposed at the outer tube and vents the air.

An apparatus for detecting an object capable of emitting light. The apparatus comprises a light source and a waveguide. The waveguide comprises a core layer and a first cladding layer. An apparatus for fabricating patterns using a laser diode is presented. The apparatus includes at least one laser diode, at least one lens and a mask having at least one pin hole, wherein light emitted from the laser diode is emitted through the lens and the pin hole to be focused on a first material layer.

Apparatuses for fabricating patterns using laser diode

An optical equipment for inspecting and addressing a specimen is disclosed. The optical equipment comprises an optical device and a processing module. The optical device comprises a light source, a sample inspecting device and an address detecting device. The sample inspecting device comprises a first objective lens and a first detector. A beam is focused on a sample placed in an inspected site of a specimen by the first objective lens. The address detecting device comprises a second objective lens and a second detector. A beam is focused on the address coding site by the second objective lens. The processing module controls the beam to be focused on the sampling points of the inspected site to generate first optical signals, and simultaneously controls the beam of the light source to be focused on the corresponding address codes of the address coding site to generate second optical signals.

Optical equipment and registration method

Apparatuses for fabricating micro patterns using a laser diode array and methods for fabricating micro patterns are presented. The apparatus includes a laser diode array having at least one laser diode wherein light emitted from each laser diode is focused by a convex lens onto a second material layer attached to a first material layer. At least one driving shaft drives motion of the first and the second material layers. An adjustment means is used for adjusting the gap and pitch between adjacent laser diodes.

Apparatuses for fabricating micro patterns using laser diode array and methods for fabricating micro patterns

An image screen includes a transparent substrate, a metal film, and an optical reflective stack layer. The metal film is disposed on a first surface of the transparent substrate, having a thickness and a set of material characteristic constants being predetermined. The optical reflective stack layer is disposed over the metal layer. The metal film and the optical reflective stack layer function together to selectively reflect a light with a portion of wavelength. In addition, according to the need, a diffusion micro-structure layer can be disposed on a second surface of the transparent substrate. Further for example, another reflective layer or optical absorbing layer can be further disposed on another surface of the optical reflective stack layer. The reflective layer can be, for example, a metal film.

A method of manufacturing micro-structure elements by utilizing molding glass includes the steps of forming a mold having a micro-structure pattern thereon by using an electroforming process, making a copy of the micro-structuring pattern on a glass structure by using glass molding technology, and filling clothing material on the glass substrate to form a micro-structure element with less complex and cost, thereby being suitable for mass production.
