Currently, the MIMO MAC-CEs have been designed to support only one component carrier. Aspects described herein provide MAC-CEs and RRC signaling, which may facilitate efficient spatial and beam change indications for multiple component carriers. A UE may be configured to receive a configuration for each of a plurality of carriers. The UE may be configured to receive control information in a MAC-CE. The control information may comprise at least one of a TCI state, an CSI-RS resource configuration, or an SRS resource configuration. The UE may be further configured to determine whether the control information applies to multiple carriers from among the plurality of carriers. The UE may be configured to apply the control information to at least one of the plurality of carriers based on a determination of whether the control information applies to multiple carriers from among the plurality of carriers.

Enhanced MAC-CE and RRC IE for multi-carrier configurations

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may generate a report for one or more two-step random access channel (RACH) procedures between the UE and a base station (BS), wherein the RACH report includes at least one of an indication of a quantity of message A (MsgA) payloads transmitted during the one or more two-step RACH procedures on each beam of one or more beams associated with the BS, an indication of one or more parameters associated with each MsgA communication transmitted during the one or more two-step RACH procedures, or an indication of whether a respective signal strength for each beam, associated with the one or more two-step RACH procedures, satisfies a signal strength threshold. Two-step random access channel signaling

Aspects relate to sending a transmission control indicator (TCI) state activation in a multiple transmission and reception point (multi-TRP) transmission system having multiple component carriers. A component carrier (CC) list of component carrier identifiers (IDs) may be configured to either exclude or include a select CC ID prior to sending a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state activation within control signaling to at least one user equipment (UE) in the RAN. Depending on whether the CC ID is excluded or included in the CC list, the receiving UEs in the system may be configured to apply a TCI state activation for the CC ID either included or excluded in the CC list, or not apply any TCI state to any CC ID by ignoring the control signaling.

The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for wireless communication including a UE and a base station. The UE can receive a MAC CE indicating an update to a spatial relation configuration of the UE for PUCCH transmissions. In some aspects, the update can be indicated by PUCCH resource information, where the PUCCH resource information can include first PUCCH resource information including a first PUCCH resource ID that identifies a first PUCCH resource and first spatial identification information. Additionally, the UE can update the spatial relation configuration of the UE based on at least one of the first PUCCH resource information or other PUCCH resource information of the PUCCH resource information, where the other PUCCH resource information can be in a same PUCCH resource group as the first PUCCH resource. Also, the UE can transmit a PUCCH transmission based on the updated spatial relation configuration.
