A method of administering a shared pool of computer system resources that includes monitoring, by a first node, resources made of a first cluster having the first and second node, and where the resources use a network to communicate with each other, maintaining, by the first cluster, a record made of parameters associated with performance of the first and second node, and monitoring, by the first node, a database made of the record. The method also includes determining, by the first node, whether the parameters associated with performance of the first and second node exceeds a threshold value, responsive to the parameters exceeding the threshold value, notifying, by the first node, a control node, and notifying, by the first node, a user to check the resources when the parameters exceeds the threshold value.

Virtual machine-initiated workload management

For a first server virtual machine (VM) virtualizing a logical volume in a read/write mode for a client VM, a second server VM virtualizing the logical volume in an off mode is instantiated. The logical volume comprises a virtualization of a portion of physical storage. At the first server VM, the logical volume is deactivated, the deactivating disallowing the first server VM from performing a storage request from the client VM. At the second server VM, the logical volume is activated, the activating performed by causing the second VM to virtualize the logical volume in the read/write mode, the activating allowing the second server VM to perform the storage request.

A voice awakening method and device are provided. According to an embodiment, the method includes: receiving voice information of a user; obtaining an awakening confidence level corresponding to the voice information based on the voice information; determining, on the basis of the awakening confidence level, whether the voice information is suspected wake-up voice information; and performing, in response to determining the voice information being the suspected wake-up voice information, a secondary determination on the voice information to obtain a secondary determination result, and determining whether to perform a wake-up operation on the basis of the secondary determination result. The embodiment implements a secondary verification on the voice information, thereby reducing the probability that the smart device is mistakenly awakened.

The orchestration node is in communication with each of the two or more VIOSes participating in the SSP, where each VIOS is configured to transmit to the orchestration node the respective health data of each VM in the respective set of VMs associated with the VIOS. The orchestration node is configured to monitor the health of a plurality of VMs associated with the two or more VIOSes participating in the SSP.
