In one example, the display panel includes, a first substrate and a second substrate opposite to each other, and a solution encapsulated between the first substrate and the second substrate. In some examples, the solution includes opaque charged particles. In some examples, the first substrate includes a first electrode, the first electrode including a plurality of discrete sub-electrodes, and the second substrate includes a second electrode. Further, the control method may include adjusting an electric field between each of the plurality of discrete sub-electrodes and the second electrode, causing the opaque charged particles to undergo a gathering motion or a scattering motion.

A display substrate includes a first substrate, a microcup structure layer, an electrophoretic liquid and a second substrate. An intersection over union (IoU) calculation is performed for two webpage elements using the obtained location and size information for at least one of these webpage elements. A table, which defines truncation defect and overlap defect scenarios, is then reviewed to determine if there are any truncation or overlap defects in these two webpage elements using the IoU calculation, the location relationship and the text condition, which indicates whether text is included in one of the two webpage elements. If any truncation or overlap defects are found in the webpage, then such truncation and/or overlap defects are marked on a screen capture of the webpage.

The display device includes a display screen and an ambient light sensor in the display screen, wherein the ambient light sensor includes a photodeformable element, and the photodeformable element includes a photodeformable material layer; and the photodeformable element is configured to deform in response to a change in ambient light to obtain output of the ambient light sensor. The ambient light sensor has a simple structure and is easy to be made and to be combined with the display screen.
