An individual identification system includes an acquiring means and a determining means. The acquiring means is configured to acquire a matched image obtained by shooting part of a predetermined region of a matching target object. The determining means is configured to calculate a score representing a degree to which a partial image similar to the matched image exists in a registration image obtained by shooting a predetermined region of a registration target object, and determine based on the score whether or not the matching target object is identical to the registration target object.

A surface property estimation system includes an image acquisition means for acquiring an image of a surface of an object, an estimation means for estimating a surface property from the acquired image by using an estimation model obtained through machine learning with use of an image of a surface of an object and a surface property shown by the image as training data, an extraction means for extracting, from the acquired image, a feature amount unique to the image, and a registration means for storing the estimated surface property and the extracted feature amount in a storage means in association with each other.

Surface property estimation system

A registration means for storing an image of a product as a registration image in association with information representing the passing sequence that the product passed through an upstream side process; a management means for managing the matching sequence in a downstream side process; and a matching means for performing matching between an image of a product carried into the downstream side process and the registration image according to the matching sequence, are included. An individual identification apparatus includes a setting means for setting an imaging condition for imaging a matching area of an object by a camera, an acquisition means for acquiring a matching image that is an image obtained by imaging the matching area of the object by the camera, a matching means for performing matching between the matching image and a registration image registered in advance, and a control means. The control means repeats processing of acquiring the matching image by the acquisition means and matching between the matching image and the registration image by the matching means, while changing the imaging condition set by the setting means, and determines an imaging condition in which a matching degree between the matching image and the registration image becomes a preset threshold or larger. The matching means identifies an individual based on the matching image captured under the determined imaging condition.

Manufacturing management method

An image matching apparatus matching a first image against a second image includes an acquiring unit, a generating unit, and a determining unit. The acquiring unit acquires a frequency feature of the first image and a frequency feature of the second image. The generating unit synthesizes the frequency feature of the first image and the frequency feature of the second image, and generates a quantized synthesized frequency feature in which a value of an element is represented by a binary value or a ternary value. The determining unit calculates a score indicating a degree to which the quantized synthesized frequency feature is a square wave having a single period, and matches the first image against the second image based on the score.

An object matching device includes an acquiring unit, an extracting unit, and a determining unit. The acquiring unit acquires an image of an object to be matched with a character printed thereon. The extracting unit extracts a partial image of predetermined size including the character as a matching partial image from the image. The determining unit compares the matching partial image with a registration partial image acquired from an object to be registered and registered in advance, and thereby determines an identity of the object to be matched and the object to be registered.

An image of an inspection surface of a product shot with a first imaging unit is divided into partial area images. For each partial area, a narrow-angle partial area image shot with a second imaging unit is acquired under shooting conditions in a pre-learning table in which the conditions and IDs are set. An object management system includes an acquisition means for acquiring an image in which a surface of a registration target object, having a circle and a handwritten character drawn thereon, is captured, a generation means for detecting an ellipse corresponding to the circle from the image and generating a registration image in which the image is applied with projective transformation such that the ellipse becomes a circle, and a registration means for writing the registration image into a storage means as data for determining the sameness of the registration target object.

Object management system

An individual identification apparatus that identifies an individual product having a pattern of irregularities randomly formed on a surface thereof includes an imaging unit and an extracting unit. The imaging unit is configured to acquire an image obtained by capturing a date mark formed on the product. The extracting unit is configured to extract a feature value related to the pattern of the irregularities from the image as data identifying the individual product.

An image matching apparatus according to the present invention includes: a common region specification unit configured to specify a common region between a first image and a second image; a date replacement unit configured to generate a first replaced image in which a brightness value of the common region of the first image is replaced based on a pixel in the first image, and a second replaced image in which a brightness value of the common region of the second image is replaced based on a pixel in the second image; and a matching unit configured to perform matching between the first image and the second image based on frequency characteristics of the first replaced image and the second replaced image.
