Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a device may select antenna elements from a planar array to transmit or receive an orbital angular momentum (OAM) beam. The device may determine a first area (e.g., a first ring area) based on an angular direction over which the device can communicate an OAM beam with a second device and may determine a second area (e.g., a second ring area) on the planar array based on projecting the first area on the planar array. The device may select a set of antenna elements from the planar array that are located within the second area. The device may determine a complex-valued weight for each antenna element of the selected set of antenna elements and may transmit or receive an OAM beam to or from the second device via the set of antenna elements according to the angular direction.

Generating and steering orbital angular momentum beams

Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for reducing channel state information (CSI) feedback overhead sent from one or more user equipments (UEs) to a network entity, such as a base station (BS) or gNodeB (gNB), while ensuring correct mapping of the CSI feedback at the network entity. In some cases, the overhead reduction may be achieved by converting the CSI feedback to size-reduced and further quantized representative coefficients (e.g., for multiple UEs). The quantized coefficients allow the network entity to recover the CSI feedback by de-quantizing and correctly mapping the quantized coefficients to recover the CSI feedback.

Providing channel state information (CSI) feedback

A method of wireless communication by a base station includes receiving a channel state information (CSI) payload at a neural network CSI decoder. The method also includes decoding the CSI payload to generate a quantity (N) of precoding vectors for N transmission layers. The method further includes orthogonalizing the N precoding vectors to generate N orthogonal precoding vectors. The method still further includes transmitting, to a user equipment (UE), downlink data that is precoded in accordance with the N orthogonal precoding vectors.

Neural network structure for feedback of orthogonal precoding information

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for sounding and precoding uplink transmissions using one or more machine learning models. An example method generally includes generating a sounding reference signal (SRS) using an SRS deep neural network (DNN); transmitting, to a network entity, the generated SRS in one or more resource elements (REs); receiving, from the network entity, information identifying a precoding matrix to use for uplink transmissions on a shared channel; precoding uplink transmissions based on the identified precoding matrix; and transmitting, to the network entity, the precoded uplink transmissions on the shared channel.

Sounding and transmission precoding matrix indication determination using machine learning models

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a first indication of a first number of antenna ports for which the UE may report channel state information (CSI), and a second indication of a second number of antenna ports on which the UE may measure CSI reference signals (CSI-RSs). The second number may be less than the first number. The UE may receive a third indication of one or more neural networks to be used by the UE for determination of the CSI associated with the first number. The UE may determine the CSI using the one or more neural networks and using measurements made by the UE on the second number as inputs to the one or more neural networks. The UE may transmit a report including the CSI associated with the first number determined via the one or more neural networks.

Techniques for determining channel state information using a neural network model

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a channel state information (CSI) configuration indicating a first feedback reporting periodicity for a dominant, or strong, spatial layer and a second feedback reporting periodicity for a non-dominant, or weak, spatial layer. The UE may transmit a first CSI report for at least the dominant spatial layer according to the first feedback reporting periodicity. The UE may transmit a second CSI report for the non-dominant spatial layer according to the second feedback reporting periodicity. In some cases, for aperiodic reporting, the UE may be triggered by downlink control information to report CSI for the dominant spatial layer. In some cases, the CSI configuration may indicate different codebooks for the dominant and non-dominant spatial layers.

These tools can provide collaborative document users the ability to more clearly distinguish casual contributors or non-contributing owners of the document from higher-level contributors whose authorship has significantly shaped the content. In addition, the listing or identification of top contributors can be configured to facilitate communication between an interested reader and the identified contributor, which increases the ease with which members of larger organizations can collaborate, seek mentorship, or develop useful relationships.

Methods, systems, and computer storage media for providing action-recommendations (e.g., save action, collaboration action, and upload action) using cloud system operations in a cloud system. For example, action-recommendations are predicted using usage data of applications and communicated to a user (e.g., via a prompt) such that the user elects to perform or not perform the action-recommendation. In operation, usage data for an application and an action-recommendation profile are accessed. Determining that an action-recommendation should be generated is based on the usage data and the action-recommendation profile. The determination is further based on action scores and thresholds (e.g., save action, collaboration action, upload action). When the action scores meet certain thresholds, the action-recommendation is generated as a save-action-recommendation, a collaboration-action-recommendation, or an upload-action-recommendation. Based on generating the action-recommendation, an action recommendation interface element (e.g., an action prompt or action dialog) is generated to perform a corresponding action.

Prediction-based action-recommendations in a cloud system

A system for determining qualified contributors of a document is provided. A system can analyze user activities associated with a document to provide meaningful insights indicating the key contributors of the document based on a contributor policy. The contributor policy defines contribution factors and criteria that is used to determine when a user is deemed as a qualified contributor. The contribution factors can be used in an analysis of one or more user activities to determine a contribution score for each user associated with a document. The contribution scores of the users can be compared with a threshold to identify qualified contributors. The identified users are listed as qualified contributors of the document and associated with the document in the metadata. The contributor information can be utilized to inform readers of the document, identity expertise of these contributors, or recommend relevant documents to the contributors.

Determining key contributors for documents

The techniques disclosed herein enable a system to drive collaboration between users by analyzing user interactions with productivity applications. The system provides intelligence mechanisms that work in concert with telemetry mechanisms to create interactive experiences that encourage users to embrace technology, improve productivity, and increase collaboration. In some configurations, the system can drive collaboration between users by correlating signals that define user interactions with individual productivity applications with contextual data that indicates how time has been allocated. During, or upon completion of a group activity, the system can identify individuals of interest and enable a user to readily share relevant files with the identified individuals.

First, the searching device performs string filtering on a data stream to be matched, in which if keywords in the data stream and preset character words have at least one same character, the searching device indicates that the data stream passes through the string filtering. Search queries for images are received from users. An original order of responsive images to the query is determined. Duplicate images and words associated with the duplicate images are identified for each of the responsive images. Common words associated with the duplicate images are identified. The responsive images are annotated with the common words and an annotated order is determined. A re-ranked order is determined based on the original order and the annotated order. Responsive images are presented to the user in the re-ranked order.
