Embodiments of the disclosure generally relate to determining configuration of a DRX timer. A wireless device determines a relationship between a DRX timer and different scheduling units and determines a time unit of the DRX timer based on the determined relationship. Then, the wireless device calculates a time interval indicated by the DRX timer based on the time unit.

According to an embodiment, the network node determines, for current paging occasion (PO), a reference terminal device that has the worst radio link quality among one or more terminal devices needed to be paged at the current PO or a subsequent PO in current paging time window (PTW). The network node determines, from multiple terminal devices needed to be paged in the current PTW, one or more target terminal devices to be paged at the current PO together with the reference terminal device, based at least on radio link qualities of the multiple terminal devices. Enhancements to mobility reference signals for radio link monitoring in a beam-based system

A user equipment, UE, performs measurements based on a plurality of RLM sources received in beam-formed downlink signals, where the measurements indicate a quality of a given cell or beam. The plurality of sources comprises two or more of: first reference signals (RSs), second RSs of a different type than the first RSs, and one or more physical channel quality indicators obtained from non-reference-signal data in the beam-formed downlink signals. For each of the plurality of sources used to perform measurements, the UE determines whether a measurement for the respective source indicates an out-of-sync event in response to the measurement being below a first threshold. The UE then performs an RLM action based on determined occurrences of out-of-sync events.
