A pneumatic nail gun has a body, a nail magazine, an actuating device, a trigger assembly and a push bar assembly. The body has a housing, a handle and a nail firing device. The actuating device is mounted between the housing and the handle. The actuating device has a channel, a piston rod, an O-ring and a first spring to provide a restitute force to the piston rod. The trigger assembly is attached to the body and has an inner cap pivotally attached to the body, an outer cap slidably attached outside the inner cap, an actuating lever pivotally attached inside the inner cap and a second spring. Accordingly, the outer cap can be moved to a lock position to keep the nails from being fired unintentionally, and the pneumatic nail gun is safe in use.

A blade clamping device includes a driving shaft and a base member fixedly mounted to the driving shaft. An opening is defined in the base member and a blade is inserted in the base member and connected to the driving shaft. A cam member is pivotably engaged with the opening of the base member and a cam head contacts a side of the blade. The base member is received in a casing which is connected to the electric saw and an opening is defined in the casing. A lever is pivotably engaged with the opening of the casing and includes a pushing end which is located beneath a bar of the cam member so that when pivoting the lever, the pushing end pivots the cam member to remove the cam head from the blade.

A foldable worktable includes a tabletop and two H-shaped legs pivotally attached to a bottom of the tabletop to support the tabletop during use. Each leg has a first attachment member attached to hold the tabletop and the two legs in place to make the worktable stable when in use or folded.

A miter saw. The saw includes a base on which a scale disk is connected and a bench is rotatably connected on the disk. An angle position device is connected to the bench. Notches are defined in an underside of the scale disk and the angle position device is engaged with one of the notches. A position member is movably connected to the body of the angle position device and a lever is connected to the position member which is pushed to contact a periphery of the scale disk to position the scale disk. A connection member is connected to the bench and a circular saw assembly is pivotally connected to the connection member. A handle on the circular saw assembly can be pulled out and rotated to adjust an angle thereof.

A rechargeable power supply pack for hand tools includes a box having an adapter and a plurality of rechargeable batteries received in received therein. A recess is defined in a bottom of the box for two terminal plates pivotably received therein. Another recess is defined in a top of the box so that the tool is engaged with the recess and electrically connected to the contact port of the batteries.

Table saw

A quick-release device for a pneumatic nail gun with a magazine has a base, a pusher plate, a spring and a button. The base has a through hole defined in the top of the base. The pusher plate has a first end that normally extends into the channel of the magazine and a second end. The spring abuts the second end of the pusher plate. The button is moveably mounted in the base and extends out from the through hole. The button abuts the second end of the pusher plate, such that the pusher plate can be pivoted by pressing the exposed button. The finger of the user does not extend into the device. Consequently, the operation of the quick-release device is simplified, and the finger of the user will not be injured during the process of clearing jammed nails.

Scroll saw

In a power saw, such as a power miter saw or chop saw, an approximately planar work surface is provided for supporting a workpiece, a frame is pivotally mounted adjacent to the work surface, and a blade is rotatably supported on the frame above the work surface. The frame and blade are pivotable between an upper, non-work position spaced away from the work surface, and a lower, work position located toward the work surface for engaging with the blade a workpiece supported on the work surface. A motor is mounted on the frame and is drivingly connected to the blade for rotatably driving the blade. An ergonomically-designed handle assembly is also mounted on the frame, and an arm of the assembly extends along a first plane oriented approximately parallel to the work surface when the frame and blade are located in the lowered, work position, and a handle projects downwardly from the arm and extends along a second plane oriented at an angle of at least approximately 50.degree. relative to the first plane. A trigger switch is positioned on the underside of the handle for engagement by at least the index and middle fingers of the hand to thereby depress the trigger and actuate the motor and blade. A safety switch is coupled to the trigger for selectively releasing the trigger, and is positioned opposite the trigger at the junction of the handle and arm for facilitating its engagement by the thumb of the same hand engaging the trigger to release and in turn depress the trigger for actuating the motor and blade.

In a scroll saw, a motor is drivingly connected to the saw blade for reciprocating the blade, and a table defining an approximately planar work surface for supporting a workpiece is pivotally mounted on a frame with the saw blade extending through a slot formed in the table for cutting the workpiece. The work surface defines a first side extending laterally on one side of the blade, and a second side extending laterally on an opposite side of the blade relative to the first side, and the first and second sides of the work surface are each tiltable about the 0.degree. plane through upper and lower angular segments of approximately 45.degree.. An angular adjustment member is connected between the table and frame, and a plurality of stop surfaces are angularly spaced relative to each other in select angular locations on its lower edge. A stop member is urged by a coil spring into engagement with the lower edge of the adjustment member, and is engageable with each stop surface in response to pivotal movement of the table to thereby stop the adjustment member and table in the select angular positions. An adjustment knob extends through a slot formed in the angular adjustment member, and is threadedly attached to the frame for rotation into engagement with the adjustment member to thereby lock the selected position of the adjustment member and table in place.

Miter saw

Compound miter saw slide bar mechanism

A powered compound miter saw that can perform miter and bevel cuts and which is adapted so that the saw blade can be moved to provide a wide cut. In particular, the compound miter saw employs a sliding mechanism that provides consistent cutting performance as the saw blade is moved from a fully retracted to a fully extended position even when the saw blade is making a severe bevel cut. The sliding mechanism employs three slide bars which have the saw blade mounted on one end thereof and which can laterally move within a housing. The slide bars are configured in a triangular arrangement and are supported within the housing by a combination of linear ball bearings and a plastic bushing.
