The disclosure relates to a method for securing a vehicle, preferably a commercial vehicle, in an emergency braking situation, wherein the vehicle has a vehicle bus system and a braking system, the method having the following steps: monitoring signals on the vehicle bus system; detecting an emergency brake signal provided by a driver assistance system on the vehicle bus system; ascertaining whether the vehicle is at a standstill; bringing a braking device of the braking system into a braking position if a standstill of the vehicle is ascertained. The disclosure also relates to a control unit for a vehicle, a computer program, a braking system for a vehicle, and a vehicle.

A method for autonomous emergency braking of an ego vehicle includes capturing driving-dynamics variables of the ego vehicle, capturing distance measurement signals, determining a longitudinal distance of the ego vehicle from an object in front, detecting an emergency braking situation based on the driving-dynamics variables and the distance measurement signals. The method further includes advanced determining or projecting, in response to the detecting the emergency braking situation, of first, second, and third starting points for initiation of a warning phase, a subsequent partial braking phase, and an emergency braking brake pressure. The advanced determining or projecting of the first, second, and/or third starting points includes: setting up a minimum period criterion with at least one minimum period and projecting, in advance in accordance with the longitudinal distance from the object, a criticality function that represents a criticality of the traffic situation.

Method and control device for the autonomous emergency braking of an ego vehicle

A method for performing emergency braking in a vehicle includes registering at least one object in surroundings of the vehicle and ascertaining a probability of collision for the vehicle with the at least one registered object to detect an emergency braking situation, autonomously activating service brakes of the vehicle using a vehicle setpoint deceleration to perform emergency braking if an emergency braking situation has been detected, and adapting the vehicle setpoint deceleration during the autonomously performed emergency braking. Adapting the vehicle setpoint deceleration takes place in dependence on at least one driving dynamics parameter. The driving dynamics parameter characterizes a real reaction of the vehicle to the performed emergency braking. The driving dynamics parameter is ascertained during the emergency braking.

Method for performing emergency braking in a motor vehicle and emergency braking system for performing the method

A method for ascertaining an autonomous emergency braking operation of an ego-vehicle. The method includes picking up driving dynamics variables of the ego-vehicle, picking up distance measurement signals, and ascertaining at least one longitudinal distance of the ego-vehicle from a forward object. The method further includes determining whether an emergency braking operation is to be initiated on the basis of the driving dynamics variables and the distance measurement signals. If a decision is made to initiate an emergency braking operation, the method additionally includes ascertaining a first starting point for initiating a warning phase by outputting a warning signal without initiating a braking operation, a second starting point for initiating a subsequent partial braking phase with a lower partial-braking braking pressure, and a third starting point for initiating a subsequent emergency braking phase to initiate an emergency braking phase with a higher emergency-braking braking pressure.

A method for automatically activating a brake application in a vehicle includes using at least one detection device, detecting at least one object in the environment of the vehicle and, using at least one processor, determining that a vehicle is on a collision course with the at least one object, determining an S-shaped avoidance trajectory of the vehicle and at least one avoidance criterion based at least in part on the S-shaped avoidance trajectory, determining two extreme values of a transverse acceleration of the vehicle from the S-shaped avoidance trajectory, determining whether the at least one avoidance criteria is fulfilled by comparing the two extreme values with a threshold value, wherein the avoidance criteria is fulfilled when the two extreme values fall below the threshold value, and activating an automatic brake application in the vehicle when an activation criterion for the automatic brake application is fulfilled.
