A cooking appliance includes at least one housing assembly and at least one cooking chamber formed in the housing assembly. The at least one cooking chamber includes at least one loading opening. At least one cooking chamber door closes the at least one loading opening. The at least one cooking chamber door includes at least one frame assembly and at least one window assembly. The at least one frame assembly includes a plurality of edges, with at least one contact face at each of the edges on a side of the at least one cooking chamber door that faces the at least one cooking chamber when the at least one cooking chamber door is closed. At least one of the contact faces is an at least one extended contact face that is significantly larger than the remaining contact faces with respect to at least one geometric dimension.

Cooking device

A cooking appliance includes a cooking chamber with cooking chamber wall, a microwave heat source configured to heat food, and a support device configured to hold a food-supporting member. The cooking chamber wall includes an opening and a lead-through device, and the lead-through device includes a through-hole configured to receive a fastening element of the support device. A tubular guide portion is formed at the through-hole of the lead-through device, and the tubular guide portion includes a safety portion configured to shield against microwave radiation and such that no part of the fastening element is located within the safety portion when the fastening element is in an installed condition in the lead-through device.

A cooking appliance includes a housing unit, a cooking chamber, a steam generation unit for supplying the cooking chamber with steam, a removable container unit associated with the steam generation unit. The removable container unit includes a container portion and a holding portion. Cooking appliance

A cooking system includes a cooking appliance with a microwave heat source and a cooking container for receiving food. The cooking appliance includes a cooking chamber having a muffle and a support device arranged on the muffle that positions the cooking container in the cooking chamber. The cooking container has a base and four side walls arranged transversely to the base as two opposing longitudinal sides and two opposing broadsides. The cooking container, at transitions from the two opposing broadsides to the two opposing longitudinal sides, has four corners, each of which has a rounded region having an external radius of at least 30 mm to maintain a minimum spacing from the muffle to counteract electrical flashovers between the cooking container and the cooking chamber.

A method for operating a cooking appliance having a cooking appliance control system and a door. The method includes automatically opening the door using the cooking appliance control system when a cooking process is complete, and automatically closing the door when a physical quantity falls below a predetermined threshold value stored in a memory of the cooking appliance control system. In addition, a cooking appliance includes a cooking chamber, a door, a cooking appliance control system having a memory, a sensor disposed in the cooking chamber, a guide device, and a door opening device including a positioning motor and a rod. The cooking appliance control system is configured to actuate the positioning motor as a function of the output signal so as to automatically open the door when a cooking process is complete and automatically close the door when a physical quantity falls below a predetermined threshold value.

Method for operating a cooking appliance and device for carrying out said method

A household appliance includes a control panel that is movable between a rest position and an exposed position. A reservoir, which is adapted for holding a fluid, has a filling opening and is positioned behind the control panel in an interior of the household appliance when the reservoir is in an operating position. The control panel is configured to impede access to the reservoir and/or the filling opening when the control panel is in the rest position and the reservoir is in the operating position. The control panel is further configured to allow access to the reservoir and/or the filling opening when the control panel is moved to the exposed position.
