The inventive pneumatic child seat () comprises a back part () and a seating part (). The child seat () automatically unfolds from an opening () in a back rest () of a vehicle seat, changes into the represented shape and is disposed on the seat () of a vehicle seat. Said child seat is configured in such a manner that the back part () can be supported separately, extending into the opening () when impinged upon by pressure from a pocket () and being secured therein.
