A rope-like structure, such as a core-spun rope, a cord or a rope, disclosed wherein the individual fibers, threads, strands and/or cords are provided in the form of longitudinal fibers of a longitudinal fiber structure which are joined to another fiber which extends in a substantially crosswise manner or at any particular angle in relation to the longitudinal fibers, such that the longitudinal fibers of the longitudinal fiber structure are mutually non-slip and essentially cannot move backwards in relation to each other, wherein the other fibers are untied, at least on one occasion, in relation to the longitudinal fibers and the latter are thus retained thereby.

Rope-like structure

A lifting belt sling for lifting loads is comprised of a tubular structure having at least two chambers whereby forming, as one unit, a chamber tube that is contiguous over the width. Loosely inserted inserts are located inside the at least two chambers and endlessly extend from one end of the chamber tube to the other end thereof. The inserts overlap the ends of the chamber tube so that they form loops at this location, whereby the inserts, when situated in the loop area, are covered by a tube protective means. A protective tube, which surrounds the chamber tube and is formed by different weaves, significantly increases the resistance to abrasion, the resistance to cutting, and the edge strength. The lifting belt sling is designed for loads of up to 100 t.

Lifting sling

A sling for fixing or carrying load includes a tubular tissue or a tube-like tissue or fabric having two ends, one of the ends being narrower than or approximately as large as, and the other end being larger than or approximately as large as, the remaining tubular tissue located between the two ends. The two ends form a junction point by inserting the narrower end into the larger end and providing the narrower end with at least one seam in the area of the junction point, whereby the junction point is thinner, shorter, or narrower at a predefined strength than in conventional overlapping ends. The sling may be used in skiing, mountain climbing, and in the area of work safety.

Sling

Rope-like structures, in particular, kernmantel ropes, cords and cables in which the individual fibres, threads or thread bundles are connected to each other such that the above are non-slip relative to each other. Such rope-like bodies have an improved resistance to extension and an improved knot stability. Kernmantel ropes have a proportion of the core fibres in the sheath region and connected therein to the sheath fibres, while a proportion of the sheath fibres lie in the core region and are connected therein to the core fibres, such that the at least one sheath is fixed to the at least one core, such that the above are non-slip relative to each other. Cords and cables with similar properties are disclosed. Such ropes are applicable in the field of work security, in water, sailing and mountain sports and for the fire service, army, police and rescue units and in Jacquard machines.

A sling band for lifting loads is disclosed. The sling band has a first band, a second band and overlapping areas, whereby the ends of the bands lead into the overlapping areas. The first band includes first warp threads and the second band includes second warp threads, whereby the warp threads, together with weft threads, form a first and a second weave. In the overlapping areas, the warp threads are joined to one another where they form a web construction with the weft threads. The web construction includes at least one additional third weave that differs from the first and second weaves. A portion of the warp threads has a lower melting point than that of the remaining warp threads thus enabling the interwoven overlapping areas to be provided with increased strength using a weld.

Sling band for lifting loads

The invention is characterized in that the tension force or relaxing force can be continuously modified during the tensioning or relaxing process.
