An example ejectable cassette, guide column, and ejectable cassette system is provided. The ejectable cassette includes a housing including a proximal end, a distal end, a first side, and a second side. The ejectable cassette includes a first locking mechanism assembly at the first side of the housing. The first locking mechanism assembly includes a first locking tab slidably disposed along the first locking mechanism assembly. The first locking tab is biased towards the proximal end of the housing. The ejectable cassette includes a second locking mechanism assembly at the second side of the housing. The second locking mechanism assembly includes a second locking tab slidably disposed along the second locking mechanism assembly. The second locking tab is biased towards the distal end of the housing.

Improved cable management assemblies and related methods of use are provided. The present disclosure provides advantageous systems for the design and use of splice managers configured to provide for user-friendly access for the splicing of media cables (e.g., optical fiber cables), while also providing for the management and storage of the spliced cables. An exemplary splice manager includes two integral spools, the splice manager being removable from the assembly housing (e.g., from the splice cassette/tray) to allow for the splicing of the fibers to be performed out in the open, and then enable the fiber excess from both the input cable and the fiber harness of the assembly housing to be spooled independently of one another on a respective spool, and then allow the splice manager to be re-mounted to the assembly housing (e.g., within the enclosure space of the splice cassette).

Splice managers and related methods of use

Exemplary embodiments of a ventilating system for regulating a property of an electrical equipment cabinet are provided, generally including a duct configured and dimensioned to be mounted with respect to the electrical equipment cabinet. The exemplary ventilating system generally includes a damper mounted with respect to the duct and a sensor mounted with respect to at least one of the electrical equipment cabinet and the duct. The sensor is generally effective to generate signals related to the property. Exemplary methods for regulating a property of an electrical equipment cabinet with a ventilating system are provided, generally including throttling the damper based at least in part upon a sensed property to maintain a substantially zero pressure or temperature environment in the electrical equipment cabinet.

Improved cable management spools for patch panel assemblies/patching systems are provided. The present disclosure provides improved systems/methods for the design and use of modular cable management spool assemblies configured to mount with respect to media patching systems (e.g., to patch panel assemblies configured to support multiple media connections). The modular cable management spools are configured to mount with respect to media patching systems and/or to related supporting structures (e.g., to cable management plates, to racks, etc.) for cable management purposes. Disclosed herein is a patching system utilizing modular cable management spools for cable management purposes, the patching system (e.g., high density patching system) configured to support copper-based and/or fiber optic connections in the same patching system/enclosure.

The present disclosure provides advantageous systems/methods for the design and use of patching systems having one or more bracket members (e.g., Z-shaped bracket members) configured to facilitate cable management. In exemplary embodiments, the bracket members allow a panel assembly to move relative to the bracket members for cable management purposes. The improved systems/assemblies of the present disclosure provide users with the ability to install multiple media connections (e.g., copper-based and/or fiber optic connections) in the same patching system/enclosure.

Exemplary embodiments are directed to modular cable management systems for a rack, the rack including frame members. The systems can include a first support plate and a second support plate. The first and second support plates can be mountable in a horizontal orientation relative to the frame members of the rack. Embodiments are also directed to methods of mounting cable management systems to a support structure or a rack.

Exemplary embodiments are directed to cable management plate assemblies for a media patching system or a rack. The cable management plate assemblies include a lower cable management plate and an upper cable management plate. The upper cable management plate can be slidably secured to the lower cable management plate. In a first configuration, the upper cable management plate is disposed in a retracted position relative to the lower cable management plate. In a second configuration, the upper cable management plate is disposed in an extended position relative to the lower cable management plate. Embodiments are also directed to methods of supporting one or more cables in a media patching system or a rack, and associated media patching systems.

A cable conduit system for a building frame structure having a bottom plate associated with each floor and a top plate associated with each ceiling. The system comprises a conduit stud and first and second header plates. The conduit stud has at least one cavity extending longitudinally from a first end to a second end. The first header plate is adapted to be fixedly mounted to an upper surface of the frame structure bottom plate and the second plate is adapted to be fixedly mounted to a lower surface of the frame structure top plate, respectively. The first end portion of the conduit stud is locked to the first header plate and the second end portion of the conduit stud is locked to the second header plate.
