If a color photographic material, which is processed by the process steps a) image-by-image exposure, b) color developing, c) bleaching, d) fixing, e) washing or stabilizing, and f) drying, wherein steps c) and d) may be combined to constitute bleach-fixing, is subjected to a temperature treatment of 0.01 to 30 seconds at 60 to 240.degree. C. between exposure and color developing, an increase of the contrast can thereby be obtained.

Processing color photographic materials

A process for processing a color photography silver halide recording material by development, bleach-fixing and stabilization or washing, wherein the silver halide emulsion layers of the photographic material have a chloride content of at least 80 mol %, the total processing time is not more than 60 seconds, the concentration of halide in the developing bath in the use state does not exceed 10.sup.-2 mol/l, the chloride content of the halide in the developing bath being at least 80 mol %, and the processing baths are replenished during continuous operation, provides results of good quality such as are otherwise obtained only by processing over a total period of at least 180 seconds.

Process for rapidly processing a color photography material

In order to be able to cast additional layers on auxiliary layers of photographic materials immediately after the latter have been cast without encountering any difficulties as regards uniformity of the cast layer and wet adherence due to incomplete conversion of the gelatine from the sol to the gel form, the auxiliary layer must contain an effective quantity of at least one compound obtained by the reaction of trihydric to hexahydric alcohols with propylene oxide.
