Operating device for a hollow drill

A guide rail for use in drilling, cutting and grinding tools has two first and second pairs of guide surfaces (1, 2, 3, 4) arranged opposite one another relative to a first axis of symmetry (S1). Each pair of first and second guide surfaces are V-shaped and are laterally spaced apart and extend in the direction of a central axis of the guide rail. A second axis of symmetry (S2) extends perpendicularly to the first axis of symmetry (S1). An additional third pair of guide surfaces are disposed on opposite sides of the second axis of symmetry (S2) and have a flattened arrowhead-like sloping roof-shaped configuration and extend in the direction of the central axis.

A drill stand includes a base plate, an elongated guide column extending outwardly from the base plate and a drilling device movably supported on the column. The guide column is formed of two laterally spaced elongated support members each having the same cross-section transversely of the elongated direction. A drilling device is positioned between the two support members. A rack is secured to the guide column and a feed mechanism for moving the drilling device includes a pinion in meshed engagement with the rack. Guide members on the support members fit into correspondingly shaped guide grooves on the drilling device.

A drilling stand has an axially extending guide column with a U- or C-shaped transverse cross-section forming an interior space in which a carriage is guided for movement in the axial direction. A drilling unit is mounted on the carriage and includes a drive member supported on the carriage within the interior space and a receiving part forming a holder for a drilling tool, connected to the drive member and projecting laterally outwardly from the guide column.

Drilling stand

A drilling and driving device provides, in combination, a drilling tool for drilling a borehole and a percussion attachment for driving fastening elements into the borehole. The drilling device includes a housing into which a drilling tool can be inserted. The percussion attachment is pivotally mounted on the housing so that it can be positioned over the drilling tool for driving the fastening element or it can be pivotally displaced so that the drilling tool can be used. In its displaced position, the percussion attachment can be loaded with a fastening element from a magazine located on the housing.
