Disclosed is the use of a mixture consisting of at least one aliphatic or cycloaliphatic polyol, in particular one adlitol or cyclitol, and at least one organic phosphorus compound under protic conditions as an additive that catalyzes the hydrolysis of condensation polymers. Also disclosed is a condensation polymer composition which contains at least one aliphatic or cycloaliphatic polyol, at least one organic phosphorus compound and at least one condensation polymer. Further disclosed is a molding compound or a molded part that can be produced from the condensation polymer composition. A method for producing the condensation polymer composition is also disclosed.

Use of an additive composition for the controlled accelerated decomposition of condensation polymers

The present invention relates to a method of stabilizing virgin thermoplastic material against oxidative, thermal and/or actinic degradation. In the method of the invention, at least one polyphenol and at least one alditol and/or cyclitol are introduced into a virgin thermoplastic material. The method of the invention can stabilize virgin thermoplastic material with high efficacy and in a very environmentally friendly and inexpensive manner against oxidative, thermal and/or actinic degradation. The present invention additionally also relates to correspondingly stabilized virgin thermoplastic material and to moulding compounds and mouldings produced therefrom. The present invention also further relates to stabilizer compositions and to the use thereof for stabilization of virgin thermoplastic material against oxidative, thermal and/or actinic degradation.

The invention relates to a method for stabilizing thermoplastic recyclates or previously damaged plastic materials against oxidative, thermal and/or actinic degradation. According to the claimed method, at least one substituted sugar, selected from the group consisting of at least one ester and/or ether of an alditol or cyclitol, at least one ester of a saccharic acid, at least one amide and/or substituted amine of an amine sugar, and mixtures and combinations thereof, as the stabilizing component is introduced in a thermoplastic recyclate and optionally additionally at least one primary antioxidant and/or at least one secondary antioxidant is introduced in a thermoplastic recyclate.

Method for stabilizing thermoplastic recyclates, stabilized plastic compositions, and molding compounds and molded parts produced therefrom

The present invention relates to the use of halogen-free sulphonic acid esters and/or sulphinic acid esters as flame retardant and/or flame retardant synergists in plastics. The invention furthermore relates to the use of said compounds as radical generators in plastics, particularly in order to increase the molecular weight of the plastics, to branch and/or cross-link the plastics, to reduce the molecular weight of the plastics, to influence the molecular weight distribution of the plastics and to graft unsaturated monomers to the plastics. The present invention furthermore relates to the use of flame-retardant plastic compositions in the electrical or electronics industry, construction industry, transport industry, preferably automobiles, aircraft, trains and ships, for medical applications, for household appliances, vehicle parts, consumer products, packaging, furniture and textiles.

The present invention relates to the use of efficient phosphorous substances, in particular based on diphenylamine and heterocyclic diphenylamine derivatives as stabilizers for organic materials, in particular for plastic materials, against oxidative, thermal and/or actinic degradation. The present invention additionally relates to an organic material that has been correspondingly stabilized as described above. The invention further relates to a method of stabilizing organic materials and to specific stabilizers.

The invention relates to a method for stabilizing halogen-free thermoplastic recyclates or pre-damaged plastics against oxidative, thermal, and/or actinic degradation. In the method according to the invention, at least one alditol or cyclitol is introduced into a halogen-free thermoplastic recyclate as a component, and optionally in addition thereto, at least one primary antioxidant and/or at least one secondary antioxidant is introduced into a halogen-free thermoplastic recyclate. By virtue of the method according to the invention, plastic recyclates can be stabilized against oxidative, thermal, and/or actinic degradation with a high degree of effectiveness and in a very environmentally friendly and inexpensive manner. The invention additionally relates to corresponding recyclate-based plastic compositions, to molding compound and molded parts produced therefrom, to stabilizer compositions, and to the use thereof for stabilizing halogen-free thermoplastic recyclates against oxidative, thermal, and/or actinic degradation.
