The invention relates to a storage system, which comprises at least one station (), such as a station for receiving goods, for re-shelving goods, picking goods and/or supplying goods from the store, and a high-bay warehouse () having a plurality of storage places () arranged adjacent to and on top of each other for the storage of goods, wherein the storage system () comprises at least one displaceable goods transport vehicle () which is designed to transport at least one item from the station () to any storage place () or vice versa, without reloading the goods onto a different goods transport vehicle () or another means of transport. The invention is characterized in that the goods transport vehicle () is designed to move in the horizontally oriented area between the station () and the high-bay warehouse () for transporting the goods as well as horizontally and vertically in the high-bay warehouse ().

Storage system

The invention relates to a device for the picking and packing of goods from at least one source storage installation on at least one target load carrier according to a packing layout. Further, the invention relates to a method for the picking and packing of goods from at least one source storage installation on at least one target load carrier according to a packing layout. In order to achieve a particularly efficient method, it is provided according to the invention that a partial amount of the goods that are to be positioned on the target load carrier are arranged in a grouping region according to a grouping that corresponds to a part of the packing layout, after which the grouping is moved from the grouping region into a position on the target load carrier that corresponds to the packing layout.

Device for the picking and packing of goods and method therefor

The invention relates to a method for the picking and packing of goods () from at least one source storage installation () on at least one target load carrier () according to a packing layout. In order to achieve a particularly efficient method, it is provided according to the invention that a partial amount of the goods () that are to be positioned on the target load carrier () are arranged in a grouping region () according to a grouping () that corresponds to a part of the packing layout, after which the grouping () is moved from the grouping region () into a position on the target load carrier () that corresponds to the packing layout. The invention relates to a storage system which comprises at least one station, such as a goods input station, a goods relocation station, a goods picking station, or a goods removal station, and a storage shelf, which has a plurality of storage places for storing goods, which storage places are arranged adjacent to each other and/or one over the other. The storage system also comprises at least one goods transport vehicle, which transports at least one good from the station to the storage place or vice versa, and the transport occurs without the good being transferred onto another goods transport vehicle or another means of transport.

The invention relates to a rack storage system comprising storage racks () for load () and a load manipulation unit (), which has at least a first load-lifting device () with a transport device () and a first buffer device () with transport conveying devices () and a rack aisle () and guide tracks () extending in the rack levels in the longitudinal direction of the rack aisle () and single-level rack serving devices () for transporting load () as well as a conveying system being connected to the load-lifting device () for transporting load () to and from the load-lifting device (). Rack storage system and method for operating it

The invention relates to a method and to a picking station () for picking of articles from source loading aids () by an order picker into destination loading aids (), wherein the loading aids () are conveyed via a first conveyor system () to the picking station () and at the picking station () are provided for picking the articles and after a picking operation are discharged from the picking station () again via a second conveyor system. A control device can co-ordinate the conveying movements of the source loading aids () and destination loading aids () in such a manner that the source loading aids () and destination loading aids () required for processing a picking order are brought together before the picking operation in the picking station () onto a common picking conveyor () of the first conveyor system () passing through a working area () for the order picker, and are presented to the order picker arranged next to one another as a picking group on the picking conveyor ().

Picking station and method for picking articles

A picking system for picking articles from storage loading aids in order loading aids has first and second conveyor systems for supplying and discharging the storage loading aids and the order loading aids, and a picking station having diverting conveyor systems. The first diverting conveyor system connects a transfer section of the first conveyor system for the storage loading aids via a first transport path to a pick-up section of the second conveyor system. The second diverting conveyor system connects a transfer section of the first conveyor system for the other loading aids via a further transport path to a pick-up section of the second conveyor system for the order loading aids. During further transport of the loading aids along the transport paths in the region of the diverting conveyor, the leading ends of the loading aids always form the front end of the loading aids in the transport direction.

Picking system and method for picking articles

The invention describes a goods distribution center () and a method for its operation for goods () to be handled preferably in partitioned storage and transport containers () with at least two storage areas () for groups of goods with varying turnover frequencies. It comprises an incoming goods area (), an outgoing goods area () and at least one order picking area (). Conveying devices () form for example conveyor belts, roller conveyors, storage and retrieval means (), e.g. shelf operating devices. Storage devices form e.g. high shelf, flow shelf storage etc. Furthermore, data input and output devices () are provided at workstations () and connected communicatively with a storage, control and monitoring device (). The conveying devices () of the incoming goods area () and the order picking area () are in the form of continuous conveying devices (), which are connected via transfer conveying means () to one another and to storage and retrieval means (). At the conveying devices () with the storage, control and monitoring device () communicatively connected detecting means () are arranged e.g. data scanners () for the detection of container data of the storage and transport containers ().

Warehouse for transferring goods and method for operating said warehouse

The invention relates to a transfer mechanism () for separating conveyed objects () out to the side from a first conveyor system () onto another conveyor system (), with a pushing unit and two parallel flexible drives () at a distance apart extending at an angle with respect to the longitudinal direction of the first conveyor system (), each of which has an endless traction means () which can be driven, and the pushing unit has oppositely lying drivers secured to the traction means () and a profiled pushing element () which is able to slide out of an initial position at the side, adjacent to a conveyor path (), into an operating position in the conveyor path (). The pushing element () extends continuously between the two flexible drives () and is mounted on the drivers so that it can be moved by means of articulated arrangements exclusively about the first axis extending perpendicular to the conveyor plane () of the conveyed objects () and about the second axis extending parallel with the transfer direction () of the transfer mechanism (). The invention further relates to a conveyor system () in which the transfer mechanism () is integrated.

Transfer device for the lateral ejection of transported goods and transport unit

The invention relates to a rack serving device () with a load-bearing means () displaceable in the height direction of a mast (), the mast () being guided by means of bogie assemblies () on bottom and top guide tracks and mounted so as to be displaceable along the guide tracks by means of a bottom and top friction-locking displacement drive (). The bottom and the top adjusting mechanisms are guided by means of height and lateral guide elements on the guide track and are designed to be displaceable relative to the guide tracks by means of a drive system (). Arranged respectively between the displacement drives () and bogie assemblies () is a coupling mechanism (), comprising at least two displaceable coupling parts () and, extending between the articulation axes of the coupling parts (), at least one coupling connection () which is pivotable about the articulation axis substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal extension of the guide track relative to a coupling part () and, at an end region remote from this articulation axis, mounted so as to be slideable in a longitudinal guide extending substantially parallel with the longitudinal extension of the mast ().

Loading/unloading device for shelving

A method of transferring storage units into and out of a racking system and picking them up from delivery areas and discharging them to despatch areas, in which the storage units are placed on a loading platform of a conveyor vehicle, e.g. rack serving unit, and conveyed thereby to various regions of the racking system or into the delivery and despatch regions, characterized in that the loading platform is designed for receiving two storage units one immediately after the other in the feed direction of the storage units and at least one storage unit is pushed from the region of the racking system or the delivery or despatch areas onto the loading platform, being laterally guided, after which the at least one storage unit is placed and aligned on the loading platform in a pre-determined placement position according to the manipulation step about to be performed, whereupon the at least one storage unit is pushed onto the racking system or the despatch area.

Method of manipulating storage units

A telescopic arm of a load-handling system for transferring storage units into and out of a rack stage of a racking system is displaceably supported on a support frame and has a plate-shaped middle slide and a plate shaped top side displaceable relative to the support frame and to each other. The support frame is in the form of a hollow section and has first and second upright longitudinal side walls and a bottom and a top side wall. Lateral guide tracks and a vertical guide track are arranged on the first upright longitudinal side wall. The top slide has lateral guide tracks and a vertical guide track as well as movable drivers for pushing a front or rear face of the storage unit. The middle slide is slidably guided between the support frame and top slide.
