A supply unit for supplying a workplace with electricity and/or gaseous media, with a first, vertically extending supply duct and a second, vertically extending supply duct, wherein the electricity and the media are led to connections on at least one of the supply ducts. From these connections the workplace is supplied and improved such that the ergonomically most favorable arrangement of the supply tubes and electric lines leading to the connections will be possible. This object is accomplished by a section of the side surfaces having an angle of inclination less than 90.degree. in relation to the base such that the ends of the side surfaces pointing away from the base can be connected at a common junction. The connections are arranged exclusively on the outer side surfaces and that the distance between the supply ducts is such that the workplace can be brought into the space between the supply ducts.

A respirator arrangement including a protective covering, particularly an antismoke hood, and a respiratory connection which is connected to a chemical that absorbs water vapor and CO.sub.2 and releases oxygen, and whose covering or hood material consists of a coated composite material. The coated composite material includes a support fabric of tear-resistant, heat-resistant, and water vapor repellent fibers formed such that the material for the protective covering and the components carrying the respiratory gas stores or releases the smallest possible amount of water vapor, and is resistant to breakage and tearing while having elasticity and suppleness, and can be processed easily. The composite material has a support fabric 1 of glass fibers 2 that has a silane interlayer 5 as adhesion promoter, to which is applied a PVC coating 3 on the side facing the surroundings, and to which is applied a silicone coating 4 on the surface away from the PVC coating 3.

A breathing mask with a half mask and a nape band is to be improved such that secure contact of the mask in the entire nose and mouth region of the mask user is ensured by the nape band. The mask is thus effectively prevented from slipping despite the fact that the band is located in the nape region only. An additional application of a hood is possible without providing additional holding members. To accomplish this task, the band can be applied in the form of a rubber-elastic cuff (5) which has a neck opening (6) and a head opening (7). The mask and cuff are preferably made in one piece of silicone rubber, and the hood can additionally be bonded to the cuff.

Sprayable composition using acetone solvent

A device for the enrichment of respiratory air with oxygen, includes a supply gas to be enriched which is supplied to at least one concentrator and from there to a product gas line in an adjustable concentration of enrichment. The required concentration of enrichment is adjusted speedily and without loss to the changing amount which is used, and as high a concentration of enrichment as possible at an adjustable and low throughput of the concentrator is achieved by use of a partial flow of the supply gas through a throughput-adjustable bypass line. The bypass line bypasses the product gas line and at least one concentrator.
