A brake caliper is fastened to a stationary brake carrier by two fastening elements such that the caliper can slide axially relative to the brake disc. The fastening elements each have a guide bar fixedly connected to the brake carrier, of which guide bars, one guide bar is guided as a fixed bearing and the other guide bar is guided in a plain bearing, which is designed as a floating bearing having a floating bearing axis. The floating bearing has a guide bush, which reaches around the guide bar and is retained in a caliper bore such that sliding is prevented. A first tubular, variable-length seal is arranged on the end region of the guide bar far from the brake disc, which seals the guide bar from the environment and is fastened on the guide bar and in the guide bush. The first tubular, variable-length seal is clamped on the guide bar by a cap pressed into the guide bar. The first tubular, variable-length seal has a ring section, which is inserted in a peripheral groove between a covering section, a collar, and a section of an outer surface. The ring section is retained by the section of the outer surface such that the ring section is secured in the radially inward direction with respect to the floating bearing axis. The ring section is retained by the covering section such that the ring section is secured in the radially outward direction with respect to the floating bearing axis.

Disc brake for a utility vehicle

A disk brake with lower cost and improved maintainability is provided. The brake caliper includes at least one actuating device for actuating the disc brake using a moveably guided bridge. The bridge has at least one threaded hole into which an actuating spindle is displaceably located. A brake disk end of the actuating spindle penetrates a caliper closing plate facing the brake disk. The positioning spindle carries a rotatably-mounted pressure piece which presses a brake pad against the brake disc. The opening is sealed by a bellows retained on the brake caliper on one side and on the pressure piece on the other side. A securing ring non-rotatably located on the actuating spindle and rotatably connected to the thrust piece interacts with the bellows during brake application and/or release to maintain a desired air gap between the brake disk and brake pad.

Disk brake for a utility vehicle

A disc brake for a commercial vehicle includes a caliper that straddles a brake disc and is retained on a stationary brake carrier in such a way as to be axially movable in relation to the brake disc on two guide bars connected to the brake carrier. The guide bars are each guided in a sliding bearing that is non-movably retained in a bore of the caliper. The disc brake is designed such that at least one of the sliding bearings is made up of at least two metal sleeves, which rest against the guide bar and are located at a distance from one another in the axial direction, and at least one spacing sleeve located there between.

A disc brake for a commercial vehicle has a caliper that straddles a brake disc. The caliper is mounted on a brake carrier on the vehicle side by way of two connecting bearings in an axially displaceable manner in relation to the brake disc. The connecting bearings each include a guide bar that is securely connected to the brake carrier and guided in a slide bearing of the caliper for the axial displacement thereof. At least one connecting bearing is provided with a radially elastic damping bushing, which at least surrounds the guide bar in regions and has grooves that are laterally delimited by ribs. The disc brake is designed such that the damping bushing has a progressive damping behavior in the radial loading direction.

Disc brake for a commercial vehicle

A brake lining assembly for a disc brake is configured for road vehicles and includes a brake caliper and brake linings located on either side of the brake disc. An unchecked dismantling of the brake linings is effectively prevented by having a mounting assembly formed from the two brake linings and the lining retaining bracket. To achieve this, the end regions of the lining retaining bracket are connected to at least one of the brake linings in a positive fit.

A disc brake, particularly for a commercial vehicle, includes a brake caliper, which is provided with a brake disc and fixed to a brake carrier by two fastening elements such that it can be axially displaced in relation to the brake disc. The fastening elements each include a guide spar, which is connected to the brake carrier in a fixed manner. For the axial displacement of the brake caliper, one of the guide spars is guided in a plain bearing designed as a movable bearing and the other in a plain bearing designed as fixed bearing such that the guide spar of the fixed bearing includes an elastically deformable section in the radial direction on the outer circumference. The associated bearing rests against the deformable section at least in some sections.

A disc brake for a utility vehicle, having a brake caliper which encompasses a brake disc and which is fastened, so as to be axially movable in relation to the brake disc, to a positionally fixed brake carrier by means of two fastening elements, wherein the fastening elements have in each case one guide bar which is fixedly connected to the brake carrier, of which guide bars, for the axial mobility of the brake caliper, one in guided in a plain bearing which is designed as a fixed bearing and the other is guided in a plain bearing which is designed as a floating bearing, wherein at least the floating bearing has a guide sleeve, which engages around the guide bar and which is connected to the brake caliper so as to be fixed in terms of movement, with an elastomer bearing sleeve, and the guide bar is covered, on its end side facing away from the brake disc, by means of a cap, is designed such that the cap, while covering the guide sleeve at the end side, is fastened at least in one axial partial region to the elastomer bearing sleeve.

Disc brake, in particular for a utility vehicle

A brake lining for a disc brake of a road vehicle has a blade-type retaining spring for the lining. At least two peripheral lining springs are situated on each brake lining, adjacent to the retaining spring, and exert a compressive force on at least some sections of the periphery of the lining carrier. The springs are configured in such a way that they respectively cover an edge region of the brake lining carrier, with the latter having at least two corner regions.

Holding device for the brake linings of a disk brake and associated brake lining

A pneumatically or electromotively operable disc brake, including a brake caliper that straddles a brake disc, at least one brake application device for tensioning the brake disc by way of a displaceably guided element, particularly a cross member. The displaceably guided element has at least one threaded borehole into which an adjusting spindle is screwed. This adjusting spindle supports a pressing piece by which a brake pad can be pressed against the brake disc. A wear adjusting device is provided for resetting the clearance and is actively connected to the adjusting spindle. A securing element acts upon the adjusting spindle, thus preventing turning up to a specified torque. The securing element is provided in the form of a spring clip with at least one or more spring saddles, which are distributed over the periphery and which rest in a frictional contact against the adjusting spindle outside the internal thread of the displaceably guided element.

Pneumatically or electromotively operable disc brake

A pneumatically or electromotively operable disc brake for a commercial vehicle, including a brake caliper, which straddles a brake disc, and at least one brake application device for tensioning the disc brake. The side of the brake application device that faces the brake disc is provided with at least one pressing piece, which is sealed with regard to the brake caliper by deformable metal bellows made of a sheet metal material, which are connected to the brake caliper and to the pressing piece.
