The present invention provides a centering cone for fixing a container, in particular a container standing on a centering plate, and for supplying clean air into the container through an air outlet of the centering cone so as to increase the internal pressure of the container. The air outlet is defined by a passage opening with a screen or by at least two individual passage openings.

Centering cone for fixing an upright container

The present disclosure describes a storage and distribution unit for a container filling plant and a method for storing and distributing the containers. A store is provided, which comprises storage areas for containers, the storage areas being distributed in a grid pattern, a container feed for connection to a discharge line section of a filling line, and a container outlet for connection to inspection units. The storage and distribution unit comprises a robot for putting filled containers into storage by transferring them from the container feed to the storage areas as well as for taking the containers out of storage by transferring them from the storage areas to the container outlet. Making use of a programmable control unit, the robot can be controlled for selectively taking the containers out of storage independently of the moment in time at which and/or the sequence in which they have been put into storage.

Unit and method for storing and distributing containers, and filling plant

The present disclosure relates to a device for guiding and pivoting bodies via sliding the bodies through the device. The device is produced using a generative manufacturing method. A system includes at least two of the devices arranged in parallel, a conveyor device, and a control device. The control device controls the conveyor device responsive to receiving a control command and feeds bodies selectively to one of the devices. A treatment line for polyethylene terephthalate (PET) containers includes a process path, a preform storage unit, a preform oven of a stretch blow-molding machine, and the device arranged between the preform storage unit and the preform oven. A treatment line for PET containers includes a process path, a container closure storage unit, a closing unit for closing the PET containers, and the device arranged between the container closure storage unit and the closing unit.

Device for guiding and pivoting bodies

An apparatus for inspecting filled containers for foreign bodies that may be contained therein, where the filled container is mechanically excited by vibration or rotation so as to cause the possibly existing foreign bodies to rotate. The acoustic signals produced by the foreign bodies impacting on the inner wall of the container are detected and analyzed. Any signal detection is separated from mechanical excitation, and mechanical excitation is separated from container transport in that the signal-detecting sensor is applied to the container only after the end of the mechanical excitation. The mechanical excitation is executed by an excitation element that is brought into contact with the container independently of the holding elements used for the purpose of transport.

Foreign body inspection in filled containers

The invention relates to a method for determining the intactness and leaktightness of containers () that are processed in a filling plant, wherein the filling plant comprises at least one centering head () for holding, gripping and/or turning one of the containers (), wherein the centering head () is arranged movably along a longitudinal axis () of the container (), and wherein the relative position of the centering head () on the longitudinal axis () is determined and used for the intactness and leaktightness determination.

Method for determining the integrity and leak tightness of containers in filling lines

An inspection device and an inspection method for detecting foreign bodies in a filled container, and having at least one inspection camera, a transport device for the at least section-by-section linear transport of the container and at least one vibration device for vibrating the container, where foreign bodies in the containers can be set in motion without complicated acceleration and retarding of the container and the movements can be registered and compared as single images by the inspection cameras even with a stationary camera position. The construction of the device is less space-consuming and less complicated than for machines of the rotary type and the detection of foreign bodies is more reliable than with conventional machines of the linear type.

Inspection device and inspection method for detecting foreign bodies in a filled container

An apparatus and a method for manufacturing plastic containers, where the plastic containers are produced from aplastic material such as recycled plastic. The plastic preforms are heated in a heating unit and expanded into plastic containers in an expansion device. An infrared absorption degree of the plastic material or of the plastic preforms produced from said plastic material is then examined at least once in the course of the production process. From this examination conclusions can be drawn with respect to the quality of the preforms and their behavior when they are being heated.

Method and apparatus for manufacturing plastic containers with infrared absorption monitoring

A process and device for the handling of objects, such as containers, particularly bottles, is described, in which an extension of the transport path is possible in a constructionally simple manner and with a compact design.
