A roof module for forming a motor vehicle roof, the roof module having a panel component which may at least partially form a roof skin of the vehicle roof, which functions as an outer sealing surface of the roof module and which as at least one curved area. The roof module having at least one environment sensor which sends and/or receives electromagnetic signals for detecting a vehicle environment. The environment sensor is disposed in a circular opening of the curved area of the panel component and is displaceable, essentially without tilt, between a resting position and at least one operating position by means of a rotational movement around a rotation axis.

A vehicle roof roller blind arrangement having roller blind web, windable to form a roller blind fabric roll in a winding area, and two guide rails disposed on either side of the web and which have respective guide tracks in which lateral guide strips of the web are guided, the guide rails connected to each other via a transverse frame part in which the winding area for the roller blind web is formed. Each guide rail has a clean-cut end adjacent to the transverse frame part. The transverse frame part has a strip infeed element for each guide rail, the strip infeed elements forming infeed tracks for the guide strips, each infeed track being defined by at least one inner retaining rib and at least one outer retaining rib for the guide strip, and the infeed tracks ending in the guide tracks of the guide rails.

The invention proposes a shading arrangement having a first look-through region and a second look-through region, having a first shading unit for the first look-through region and a second shading unit for the second look-through region, wherein the two shading units include one shading element, respectively, on which a drive means either directly or indirectly acts on both sides, respectively at a lateral guide rail in relation to a vertical longitudinal center plane of the roof. A soft top for a motor vehicle, lockable on a windshield frame by a latch disposed on a forward soft top section and swivelable to a locked position, the soft top movable to a rearward stowed position once the latch has been swiveled into an unlocked position. A locking mechanism provides a catch hook on the vehicle body swivelable between a releasing position and a blocking position, in which the same engages with a catch hook engaging part that is mounted on the soft top or the vehicle body when the soft top is in the blocked state. The locking mechanism is fitted with a spring device, against the spring force of which the soft top runs into the stowed position, while the catch hook can be swiveled into the released position by means of the locking drive in order to release the locking mechanism.

Actuating device for the folding roof of a motor vehicle

The invention concerns a sewing machine having a sewing-material feeder to advance the material being sewn in a step-wise manner and having furthermore a drive shaft pivoting to-and-fro in order to intermittently move the sewing-material feeder in the direction of advance of the material being sewn. The drive shaft includes a radially projecting drive crank connected by a linkbar of corresponding length to an output crank pivotably supported on a sleeve to pivot about an axis parallel to the drive shaft. The sleeve is rotatably supported on an output shaft cooperating with the sewing-material feeder and can be rotated by means of a stitch-length adjustment device. The output shaft is also parallel to the drive shaft and is driven by the output crank through a transmission provided on the sleeve. By this arrangement, a high compactness and a very advantageous force transmission between drive and output shafts can be achieved.

The invention pertains to a blind-stitch sewing machine with a plate-shaped fabric bender to make a sewing material bulge in to the arcuate path of an arc needle. The fabric bender extends in a plane perpendicular to the path of the arc needle and is pivotable to-and-fro in this plane by means of a drive shaft extending perpendicular to this plane. The fabric bender is rotatably supported in a slot of a support assembly projecting from the drive shaft to pivot about an axis parallel to this drive shaft, and furthermore is spring biased away from the drive shaft. To achieve a narrow construction of the fabric bender and of its support assembly, the drive shaft is hollow and a torsion spring is provided to load the fabric bender. The torsion spring is mounted in the borehole of the hollow shaft where adequate space is available to install the spring.
