A cutting and transporting mechanism for stalk harvesting products comprises at least one cutting disc, at least transporting disc arranged coaxially relative to the cutting disc and provided with a plurality of transporting prongs arranged on a circumference of the transporting disc, a rotatable reamer associated with the transporting prongs at a discharge location.
