It is provided a dosage pump () comprising a pump housing (), a first valve (), a second valve (), an actuation lever (), wherein the actuating lever () is adapted to be tilted around a tilting axis (), a disc () for providing a torque, wherein the disc () is adapted to rotate around an input axis, a first cam () connected to the disc () and a second cam () connected to the disc (), wherein the actuating lever () comprises a first raceway (), wherein the first raceway () and the second raceway () are formed such that at least partially during an angle of rotation of the disc (), where the actuation lever () has to apply an actuation force for opening and/or closing the first valve () and/or the second valve (), the first cam () or the second cam (), whose contact point to its corresponding raceway () is farer away from the tilting axis () of the actuation lever () and/or adjusted to a lower torque at the actual angle of rotation of the disc (), provides the tilting force onto the actuation lever (). Due to the at least two cams () the actuation force at the valves () can be provided by means of the cam () with a large lever arm, so that a lower torque of the disc () is sufficient, which can be generated with a lower energy consumption.

Dosage pump with low energy consumption

A gear drive system is provided having a first gear and a second gear. The second gear has a first peripheral portion and a second peripheral portion. A first set of gear teeth can be defined peripherally over the first peripheral portion and/or the second peripheral portion. The first peripheral portion and/or the second peripheral portion can be more resilient, resulting in a first backlash between the first set of gear teeth and the teeth of the first gear, less than a second backlash between the second set of gear teeth and the teeth of the first gear. Each gear tooth of the second gear can have a gear tooth spacing between adjacent gear teeth. The gear tooth spacing over the first peripheral portion and/or the second peripheral portion can be less than the gear tooth spacing at portions other than the first peripheral portion and/or the second peripheral portion.

Eccentric gear drive with reduced backlash

A diaphragm pump (), in particular for use as a detergent dosage pump, comprises a pump housing () with at least a first check valve () and a second check valve (), a fluid chamber (), a diaphragm () defining a wall of the fluid chamber () and reciprocatingly movable, driving means () with a driving shaft () for reciprocating said diaphragm (), a control unit (), wherein the driving means () is connected to the diaphragm () by an eccentric () and a con rod (), wherein the driving means () is configured as a gearless drive to directly reciprocate the diaphragm (). The diaphragm pump () according to the invention offers increased cost efficiency and further it is possible to increase the dosing capabilities of the diaphragm pump ().

Diaphragm pump for dosing a fluid and an according method

The invention relates on an oval gear meter for volume flow measurement comprising a housing with an oval gear chamber with a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, a pair of oval gear wheels positioned in the chamber and together forming an intermeshing or non-intermeshing involute toothing, and a contactless magneto-reactive sensor means positioned outside of the chamber. At least one of the oval gear wheels is provided with at least one permanent magnet to form a trigger wheel. The sensor means is positioned in an appropriate position relative to the trigger wheel so that the sensor means is adapted to measure the rotation of the oval gear wheels by measuring the rotation of the trigger wheel. The trigger wheel is provided with a permanent magnet that generates a generally homogeneous magnetic field along one axis of symmetry of the trigger wheel so that the magnetic field is generally symmetrical relative to the rotational axis of the trigger wheel. The sensor means is designed as a GMR-spin valve sensor means and is positioned generally concentrically relative to the rotational axis of the trigger wheel.
