There is provided herein a process for the compaction of Polyhalite, comprising: mixing a feed of polyhalite with an inorganic binder in a mixer to yield a mixture; compacting said mixture in a compactor to yield masses; crushing said masses in a crusher to yield particles; and screening said particles in a screener to yield particles in three different sizes: oversized fine particles which undergo a second crushing process and are retuned to said screener for screening, undersized fine particles which are transferred to said mixer for further mixing and compacting, and desired size fine particles which are transferred to a polish screener for glazing and oiling.

According to some embodiments there is provided herein a granule of potash dust comprising a binder selected from the group including Flyash, Sodium Silicate, Potassium Silicate and starches, wherein said potash dust comprises particles in the size between 0.001-0.5 mm

According to some demonstrative embodiments, there is provided herein a fertilizer granule including a fertilizer dust and one or more binders wherein said granule comprises a single strength of at least 2.5 kg/gran and a single strength after humidity chamber 24 hours, 79% RH of at least 0.5 kg/granule.

Binders for the granulation of fertilizers

There is provided herein a process for the compaction of Polyhalite with a Potassium salt, wherein said process comprising: mixing a feed of polyhalite with a feed of said Potassium salt in a mixer to yield a mixture; compacting said mixture in a compactor to yield masses; crushing said masses in a crusher to yield particles; screening said particles in a screener to yield fine particles in three different sizes: oversized fine particles which undergo a second crushing process and are retuned to said screener for screening, undersized fine particles which are transferred to said mixer for further mixing, and desired size fine particles which are transferred to a polish screener glazing, drying and oiling.

Compaction of polyhalite and potash mixture

There is provided herein a process for the production of polyhalite granules from fine dry polyhalite powder comprising preparing a binder-water mix and mixing the binder-water mix with the polyhalite powder in a mixer, continuously adding water to the mixer to provide a polyhalite material, discharging the polyhalite material from the mixer and introducing the material into a fluid bed, drying the material and screening the material to receive granules ranging in size between 1.4 mm to 4.75 mm.

According to some demonstrative embodiments, there is provided herein a spherical fertilizer granule having a specific gravity of more than 1.94 g/cmand less than 3% porosity.
