A gas cooking appliance having a gas burner, at least one control device comprising a gas regulating valve regulating the flow of gas to the gas burner, a knob controlling the opening ON and closing OFF of the valve, and a position sensor detecting the ON-OFF position of the knob, and at least one signaling device comprising a light signal source that emits an alarm signal in the form of light. The light signal source emits the alarm signal during a time period Twhen the position sensor detects that the knob is in the OFF position, after the knob having been in the ON position, and the gas burner has been switched on at least during a time period T

Dual fuel heater

An ignition switch assembly suitable for being connected to a rotary shaft of a gas tap of a cooking appliance. According to one implementation the ignition switch includes a coupling element through which the ignition switch assembly is coupled to the rotary shaft, the coupling element being rotational with the rotary shaft. A fixed contact element and a movable contact element are provided within a casing of the assembly along with the coupling element which includes a cam on an outside surface thereof. The movable and fixed contact elements and the coupling element are arranged so that the cam urges the moveable contact element into contact with the fixed contact element when the coupling element is rotated between a selective angular range. A resistance element is arranged to contact at least a portion of the body of the coupling element to provide resistance against the rotational movement of the coupling element.

Ignition switch assembly for a gas tap

Regulation valve for a gas cooking appliance adapted for the supply of first and second different types of fuel gas, such as natural gas or liquefied gas. The regulation valve has a valve body with an inlet conduit and an outlet conduit, and a rotatable regulating organ housed in the valve body. The regulating organ has a plurality of inlet holes connected to the inlet conduit which, by means of the rotation of said regulating organ allow a gas flow to be altered, the inlet holes of the regulating organ corresponding to the first type of fuel gas are in a first axial position and the inlet holes corresponding to the second type of fuel gas are in a second axial position.

Regulation valve for a gas cooking appliance

A dual fuel vent free gas heater. In one implementation the heater includes a gas burner adapted to receive one of a first type of gas or of a second type of gas with a first pilot burner intended to receive the first type of gas and a second pilot burner intended to receive the second type of gas. A first temperature sensor is located adjacent the first pilot burner and a second temperature sensor is located adjacent the second pilot burner. A normally closed thermal switch is coupled to the first temperature sensor and located in the electrical flow path between a voltage source and a gas control valve actuator, the thermal switch configured to open when the temperature detected by the first temperature sensor exceeds a predetermined temperature indicative that the second type of gas is being delivered to the first pilot burner.

Dual fuel gas heater

A multiple gas pilot burner assembly for a household heating appliance. The pilot burner includes an injector having a first conduit for receiving a flow of a first combustible fluid, a second conduit for receiving a flow of a second combustible fluid and a third conduit connected to and in fluid communication with the first and second conduits which is configured to receive the flow of the first combustible fluid from the first conduit or the flow of the second combustible fluid from the second conduit. A single nozzle at the outlet of the third conduit is provided for supplying a pilot flame. The assembly also includes a single flame igniter positioned to cause an ignition of the pilot flame at the nozzle and also a single thermocouple positioned to be heated by the pilot flame and to generate an electrical current when heated.

Multiple gas pilot burner

A dual fuel vent free gas heater having at least one gas burner with a plurality of gas outlet ports. The gas outlet ports are in flow communication with at least one pilot flame burner. At least one fuel injector feeds fuel to the burner providing for introduction of more than one fuel to the burner. Optionally, an oxygen detection system, manual control valve, linkage, and/or shut off control system may be incorporated into the dual fuel vent free heater.
