An HVAC assembly for a vehicle includes a roof liner with an opening, and a stiffener. The stiffener includes an upper surface, a lower surface, and an integrally formed HVAC duct extending away from the unexposed side of the roof liner toward the roof of the vehicle. The lower surface of the stiffener contacts an unexposed side of the roof liner, and at least substantially surrounds the opening for providing rigidity to the roof liner around the opening in the roof liner. The integrally formed HVAC duct includes an outlet port for providing conditioned air to the vehicle cabin.

A sunshade assembly wherein the sunshade is secured in a deployed position at a single location, and wherein when the sunshade is retracted, the field of view through the window is unobstructed by securing members or the like. More particularly, the sunshade assembly utilizes a recessed hook or hook retainer within a trim panel adjacent the window as an anchor point, while a handgrip secured to the window shade is configured to pivot into a position to permit a hook or hook retainer associated therewith to be inserted into the recessed anchor point.

A rear pillar garnish assembly to cover an air bag in a rear pillar for an automotive vehicle is provided and includes a base attached to the rear pillar, a flexible cover attached to a front portion of the base, a stiffener attached to the flexible lid and to the rear pillar, a speaker assembly, and a rear cover. When the air bag deploys the force of the air bag dislodges the flexible cover from the front portion of the base to allow the air bag to expand into a passenger compartment of the automotive vehicle. The flexible lid, however, remains attached to the stiffener thereby preventing the flexible lid from becoming airborne into the passenger compartment of the automotive vehicle.

Rear pillar garnish assembly

A multi-functional cargo lid for a vehicle is provided that functions as a floor for a main storage area, a lid for a storage well, and as an elevated shelf. The cargo lid includes a first panel pivotally connected to a cargo lining behind a rear seat of the vehicle and a second panel pivotally connected to the first panel. When the cargo lid is in a first configuration the first and second panels are substantially horizontal and are flush with a floor of the vehicle. When the cargo lid is in a second configuration the first panel is substantially vertical and the second panel is elevated above the floor but remains substantially horizontal. A side latching device that pivots from each rear sidewall of the vehicle is adapted to receive and horizontally secure the second panel thereby securing the cargo lid in the second configuration.

Multi-function cargo lid/floor

A door grip for a vehicle. The door grip comprises a base member having a central opening. A bracket is positioned proximate an interior portion of the base member. A cover having a shape generally corresponding to the base member at least partially encloses the interior portion of the base member. A mounting portion of the bracket is attachable to a vehicle door interior panel such that a handle portion of the door grip is cantilevered away from a vehicle door interior panel.

A cargo bin lid hinge includes a body member, a first hinge arm, and a second hinge arm. The first hinge arm extends from the body member and is generally aligned with the body member. The second hinge arm extends from the body member, and is curved and extends away from a plane of the body member. The first and second hinge arms cooperate to define an elongated hinge pin-receiving receptacle. A hinge pin has a flat surface that facilitates snap-fitting assembly of the hinge thereon.

Rear cargo lid assembly

A cover assembly is secured to a panel and operable to selectively cover or reveal an opening in the panel. The cover assembly includes a sliding cover and a housing. The housing is secured to the panel and includes lateral and vertical guide members. The lateral guide members engage the cover and maintain the cover in alignment with the opening as the cover is moved between an open position and a closed position. The vertical guide members engage a lower surface of the cover and serve to bias the cover upwardly as the cover is moved into the closed position so that the cover upper surface is substantially flush with the panel upper surface when the cover is closed.

Sliding cover for tie down anchor

A cargo bin liner is adapted to retain and store a tonneau cover therein. The cargo bin liner includes a central cup-shaped member and a pair of wings that extend outwardly from opposite ends of the cup-shaped wall. The wings include a base wall, forward wall, a rearward wall, and an end wall. The forward and rearward walls are spaced apart a distance that closely corresponds to a width dimension of the tonneau cover received therebetween such that the tonneau cover is snugly fitted against unintended horizontal movement. The end wall includes mounting members that engage terminal ends of the tonneau cover and prevent unintended vertical and horizontal movement of the tonneau cover. The cargo bin liner has a cargo bin lid pivotally secured thereto, and provides engagement surfaces to vertically support the lid when the lid is in a closed position.
