A method of processing a print order in which the entire order is delivered simultaneously. An exposed sheet carrying all the latent images of the order is developed in a single processing space.

Photographic processing system

A process for the treatment of a photographic material particularly a high speed photographic material, comprising an emulsion containing silver halide grains the treatment being to reduce the sensitivity of the material to ionizing radiation comprises prior to exposure, subjecting the material to a treatment that reduces the surface image dispersity so that fewer centers develop on each grain. The process may involve subjecting the photographic emulsion to physical pressure to deform the grains to introduce internal trapping centers for latent image formation so that a proportion of the latent image can be formed within the grains rather than on the grain surface.

Process for treatment for high speed photographic materials

Improved sensitivity and reduced minimum density are provided by an emulsion in which high bromide tabular grains exhibit an average thickness of less than 0.07 .mu.m and have latent image forming reduction chemical sensitization sites and adsorbed spectral sensitizing dye on their surfaces. The tabular grains contain a dopant capable of forming shallow electron trapping sites, and the spectral sensitizing dye exhibits an oxidation potential more positive than 1.2 volts. A photographic element is disclosed which locates the emulsion in a layer overlying a minus blue recording emulsion layer. Exceptionally sharp images are formed in the minus blue recording emulsion layer when in the overlying emulsion layer greater than 97 percent of the total projected area of the silver halide grains having an equivalent circular diameter of at least 0.2 .mu.m is accounted for by tabular grains having an average equivalent circular diameter of at least 0.7 .mu.m.

Emulsion and photographic element

Photographic elements intended to generate dye images containing at least one colloidal silver layer and at least one hydroquinone antistain agent have been observed to suffer from random fog spotting, which can be reduced by incorporating a catalyst for the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. The imagewise exposed elements when photographically processed and bleached of silver produce viewable dye images.
