A concentrate/extract cartridge for a beverage dispenser adapted to dispense a liquid concentrate/extract and a diluent is provided. The cartridge includes a hollow body for containing liquid concentrate/extract and an aperture. A pumping device is connected to the hollow body for dispensing the liquid concentrate/extract from the hollow body through the aperture. A method for dispensing a liquid concentrate/extract from a beverage dispenser using a concentrate/extract cartridge is also provided in which the concentrate/extract does not come into contact with the dispenser.

A bag rack (10) including a base (12), side walls (18, 20), a back wall (22) and a pair of L-shaped bag support arms (32). Side walls (18, 20) are releasably joined and secured to back wall (22) by the upright legs (30) of bag support arms (32) by means of a series of interlocking, aligned slots (26, 28). A rear slot (42) is provided between back wall (22) and base (12) to allow the bottom edges of a multiplicity of bags carried by a hook (37) to extend back of base (12).

A bag rack (10, 110, 210) including a base (12, 112), side walls (18, 20, 114, 116), a back wall (22, 118) and a pair of L-shaped bag support arms (32, 160, 162). Side walls (18, 20, 114, 116) are releasably joined and secured to back wall (22, 118) by the upright legs (30, 146) of bag support arms (32, 160, 162) by means of a series of interlocking, aligned slots (26, 28, 142, 144). A rear slot (42, 172) is provided between back wall (22, 118) and base (12, 112) to allow the bottom edges of a multiplicity of bags carried by a hook (37, 156) to extend back of base (12, 112). An embodiment of the back rack (110) is shown in which the bag supporting arms (160, 162) are coupled together by a transversely extending rear extension (164), which cooperatively engages a structure, preferably pairs of channels (168, 170), on the back wall (118) of the bag rack (110) to secure the bag supporting arms (160, 162) in a desired vertical height and to transfer cantilever loading of the bag supporting arms (160, 162) to the back wall (118).

A portable wireless communications device such as a telephone handset having a vertically corrected antenna module pivotally secured to the handset for rotation about a first pivot axis. The antenna module can be rotated into a predetermined orientation, independent of handset orientation. An antenna mounted on the module is oriented vertically when the module is in the predetermined orientation. When the antenna module is rotated for use, a mechanism incorporated in the module support structure automatically rotates the antenna module about a second pivot axis which is substantially perpendicular to the first. This second rotation places the antenna at an angle that compensates for tilting of the handset during use about an axis parallel to the second axis, or along the first. That is, the antenna is shifted by a preselected angle in vertical orientation, typically around 10-15 degrees, in a direction perpendicular to the first direction of rotation to compensate for positioning a speaker and microphone for use.

A docking module can electrically connect a portable computer to a plurality of ancillary support devices. Engagement devices can alternately pull and push the portable computer relative to the housing. A sliding deck projects from the housing and is adapted to underlie and pull the portable computer toward the housing. The module has a plurality of electrically interconnected connectors mounted on panels on opposite sides of a housing. These panels are separately mounted at front and rear openings in the housing. A standard blank panel can have holes formed in it in a variety connector patterns to accommodate a variety of portable computers. Accordingly, the module is readily adapted to a portable computer by selecting a mounting pattern for the connectors on one of the panels, without a need to modify the housing. Also the docking module can be customized by using a standard reciprocating mechanism and selecting a customized mating implement to attach to the reciprocating mechanism.
