A pack module includes a number of absorbent articles and at least one belt to which the absorbent articles can be releasably attached. The belt when placed in the pack module constitutes a gripping device which is intended to act on at least one of the articles and, at least partially, remove at least one absorbent article from the pack module when the gripping device is used. Removal of firmly compressed absorbent articles from a pack module without using additional material in the pack module is thus possible.

An article includes a chassis and a belt to be placed around the waist of a wearer and separable from the chassis. A front and/or rear portion of the chassis includes a pair of first fasteners detachably attachable to the outer surface of the belt and separated by a first distance. The chassis includes a pair of first stretch markings related to the first distance. The belt includes a pair of second stretch markings marking a second distance when in a relaxed state and a predetermined third distance when in a stretched state. In a relaxed state, the first stretch markings are positioned in conjunction with or within the second stretch markings allowing the chassis to be attached to the belt in the relaxed state via the first fasteners and allowing the belt to be stretched into the third distance without jeopardizing the fastening of the first fasteners.

An absorbent product such as a sanitary napkin, a diaper, an incontinence pad or similar article, includes an absorbent body having an absorbent layer presenting a first surface and an opposite second surface. A first material layer is arranged in contact with the first surface of the absorbent layer. A second material layer is arranged in contact with the second surface of the absorbent layer. There is at least one bend indication in the form of a through slit or an elongated opening arranged in the absorbent layer. One of the surfaces of the absorbent layer is mutually joined with the material layer in contact therewith, within a region immediately surrounding the bend indication, on both sides thereof. The absorbent layer's opposite surface in this region is not joined to the material layer in contact therewith.

A sanitary napkin having an absorbent body and a layer of compressible and resilient, essentially non-absorbent material located adjacent a surface of the absorbent body which lies distal to a body of a water in use. The layer of compressible and resilient material has a surface area extending entirely over the surface of the absorbent body. Further, the layer of compressible and resilient material is thicker in a longitudinal central region of the napkin than in remainder of the napkin and the layer of compressible and resilient material is resiliently compressible in a direction perpendicular to the surface of the absorbent body, so as to urge the sanitary napkin to fill out all available space between the sanitary napkin and the body of the wearer during use.
