Disclosed is an integrated wireless head protection garment and harness, to a head protection garment and harness with an integrated wireless communication device including a head garment for wearing by a wearer, a harness attached to the head garment, and a wireless communication device attached to the harness. The wireless communication device includes a casing that houses a micro-processing unit and a wireless module along with a depressible button. Depression of the depressible button by the wearer initiates communication of sensor data including at least an event signal to another device by means of the micro-processing unit and the wireless module over a wireless communication network. The micro-processing unit and the wireless module facilitate 2-way communication with the wearer of the wireless communication device.

A fender for absorbing forces generated from an impact includes a depending attachment flange which comprises a vertically aligned section depending from an exterior portion of the fender and a horizontally aligned section depending from the vertically aligned section adapted for mounting to a vehicle wherein the vertically aligned section includes a plurality of contoured portions for enhancing the stiffness of the vertically aligned section.

Energy absorbing vehicle fender

A thermoplastic building block consisting of a hollow block molded out of a thermoplastic resin such as an aromatic polycarbonate resin. The block has molded flanges extending outwardly from the outer surfaces of the block. The flanges have interlocking means such as ribs on the under side of the extended flanges so as to join the corresponding outer flange of an adjacent block. The joining means do not require the need for cementing or adhesive bonding the flanges together. The block may be used to form a straight or curved wall.
