Hybridoma cell lines have been generated which produce and secrete monoclonal antibodies which selectively bind to tilmicosin. These hybridomas may be obtained by using as an immunization agent or immunogen, 23-deoxo-23-demycinosyl tilmicosin which has been conjugated to an immunogenic carrier. The antibodies may be used to detect and/or quantify tilmicosin in biological samples. The monoclonal antibodies also may be incorporated into kits.

Monoclonal antibodies to the drug tilmicosin and a method for detecting the same

Hybridoma cell lines have been generated which produce and secrete monoclonal antibodies which selectively bind to 4,4&prime;-dinitrocarbanilide (DNC), the active agent of nicarbazin. These hybridomas may be obtained by using as an immunization agent or immunogen, p-nitroaniline which has been conjugated to an immunogenic carrier. DNC in biological samples may be detected and quantified by contacting the sample with the antibodies to form a DNC/antibody immunocomplex when DNC is present, which immunocomplex may then be detected. The monoclonal antibodies also may be incorporated into kits for the detection and quantification of DNC and/or nicarbazin.

Monoclonal antibodies to 4,4&prime;-dinitrocarbanilide and a method for analyzing for the drug nicarbazin

Hybridoma cell lines have been produced which produce and secrete monoclonal antibodies which bind salinomycin and are effective to detect salinomycin levels as low as about 0.174 to about 0.793 ng. These monoclonal antibodies may be used for the detection and quantitative determination of very low levels of salinomycin in samples, especially in animal tissue and feed material.
