It is thus an object of the invention to provide a hair restraint system that is rapidly converted by the user between a pony tail wrap and an anti-slip head band. A hair restraint system that includes an outer restraint assembly that is connectable to an inner restraint assembly. The outer restraint assembly includes an outer elastic ring layer, an inner tack ring layer formed on an inwardly facing surface of the outer elastic ring layer, and a plurality of spaced female snap halves with the female snap connecting portion oriented toward a ring center of a center ring opening defined by the outer restraint assembly. The inner restraint assembly includes an inner elastic ring that is sized to fit into the center ring opening defined by the outer restraint assembly and having spaced male snap halves each having the male snap connecting portion oriented away from an assembly center opening defined by the inner restraint assembly. The spaced male snap halves of the inner restraint assembly are positionable in registration with and connection to the spaced female snap halves of the outer restraint assembly such that the inner elastic ring covers the inner tack ring layer of the outer restraint assembly.

Hair restraint system

A universal magnetic utensil mounting bar has an integral modular frame of generally elongated, rectangular configuration. The frame includes on one side thereof, a central channel shaped recess which extends longitudinally from end-to-end thereof. The opposite side of said module includes a pair of parallel, longitudinally extending, vertically spaced recesses disposed outwardly of the central recess. A magnetic rod and pole pieces are disposed in each of the parallel recesses. The central recess is adapted to receive selectively therein another elongated magnetic rod and pole pieces, a mounting bar portion of a towel rack, the bar portion of utensil support hooks and the bar portion of a dispensing spindle for a roll of paper towels.

Magnetic holder for keys and the like embodying this invention is in the form of a unitary extrusion of synthetic plastic, magnetic material. The extrusion has a planar web portion, and a key-shaped cut-out is provided through the base portion of said magnetic material. The extrusion includes longitudinal, inwardly opening side edge channels, and the sheet is slidably insertable within said channels as a closure for one side of said key shaped cut-out. Also disclosed is a method of manufacturing such key holders which includes the steps of extruding a unitary, continuous strip of synthetic plastic magnetic material with a planar web portion and inturned longitudinal edge channels. A key-shaped cut-out is punched through the web portion of the magnetic strip, and a flat panel is fitted over one side of the key-shaped cut-out, with the edges of the panel disposed in said channels.
