A solution having improved stain removing properties on hard surfaces, carpets and fabrics, that is easier to handle (stored or transported at lower temperatures and less corrosive) and that is environmentally friendly. The stain removing solution includes the following components: a surfactant selected from the group consisting of alcohol ethoxylates, alkyl sulfates, alkyl ether sulfates, alpha olefin sulfonates, alkyl phosphates, alkyl amidopropyl betaines, alkyl betaines, amphoacetates, amphoproprionates, amphosulfonates, amine oxides, alkanolamides, sulfosuccinates, and sultaines, a hydrotrope, and a solvent. The surfactant is preferably an alcohol ethoxylate. The hydrotrope is preferably lauramine oxide. The solvent is preferably a dibasic ester or a glycol ether. The solution may further comprise a diluent, a mild acid, and/or a preservative. A mild acid can be added to lower the pH of the solution.

Stain removing solution

An outdoor cleaning concentrate composition having improved dirt and stain cleaning properties on outdoor surfaces, that is less corrosive and capable of being used with a water spraying system; and that is environmentally friendly. The outdoor cleaning concentrate composition includes the following components: a surfactant selected from the group consisting of alkyl glucosides, alkyl carboxylates, alkyl polyoxyethylenes, alkyl polysaccharides, alkylamine ethoxylates, amphoterics, amine oxides, polyalkylene glycol, sarcosines and sarcosinates; a fungicide; a chelating agent; a disinfectant; and a specific pH range. The surfactant is preferably an alkyl glucoside; more preferably, caprylyl/decyl glucoside. The fungicide is preferably potassium bicarbonate, while the disinfectant is preferably potassium carbonate.

Outdoor cleaning system concentrates

A solution having improved mold and mildew stain removing properties on hard surfaces, that is easier to handle (less corrosive and less malodorous) and that is environmentally friendly. The mold and mildew stain removing solution includes the following components: a surfactant selected from the group consisting of alcohol ethoxylates, alkyl sulfates, alkyl ether sulfates, alpha olefin sulfonates, alkyl phosphates, alkyl amidopropyl betaines, alkyl betaines, amphoacetates, amphoproprionates, amphosulfonates, amine oxides, alkanolamides, sulfosuccinates, and sultaines, a solvent, and at least one chelating agent. The solution may further comprise a hydrotrope, a diluent, a preservative, and/or a fungicide. The surfactant is preferably an alcohol ethoxylate. The hydrotrope is preferably lauramine oxide. The solvent is preferably a glycol ether. The chelating agents are preferably sodium gluconate and a solution of the trisodium salt of methyl glycine diacetic acid.

Mold and mildew stain removing solution

A hard surface cleaning solution having improved cleaning and descaling properties. In an embodiment, the cleaning solution comprises an organic acid, a surfactant, a solvent and a diluent. The organic acid is a carboxylic acid, preferably lactic acid, while the surfactant is selected from the group consisting amine oxides, and the solvent is an alkoxylated alcohol, preferably selected from the propylene glycol ether class of compounds. The cleaning solutions may also include other components such as colorants, fragrance enhancers, corrosion inhibitors, nonionic surfactants or other additives.

Hard surface cleaning composition for personal contact areas

A hard surface cleaning solution having improved cleaning and descaling properties. The cleaning solution includes the following components: a first organic acid, a second organic acid, a surfactant, a solvent and a diluent. The first organic acid is a carboxylic acid, preferably lactic acid, while the second organic acid is also a carboxylic acid, preferably gluconic acid. The surfactant is selected from the group consisting of amine oxides, preferably lauramine oxide. The solvent may be an alkoxylated alcohol, preferably selected from the propylene glycol ether class of compounds.

A microemulsion gel having antiseptic and bleaching properties is prepared from the combination of a water phase comprising water and propylene glycol with an oil phase generally comprising one or more surfactants, an emollient, and an oil. In its preferred embodiment, the oil phase comprises a polyethylene glycol ether of isocetyl alcohol, preferably Isoceteth-20, a polyethylene glycol ether of oleyl alcohol, preferably Oleth-2, and a polypropylene glycol ether of stearyl alcohol, preferably PPG-15 stearyl ether. The water phase optionally includes sorbitol and the oil of the oil phase may be mineral oil. The water and oil phases are heated independently then combined and mixed. Hydrogen peroxide is subsequently added to the composition, and the combination is cooled and allowed to stand until a gel is formed. A fragrance may be added as desired.

An isopropyl alcohol gel having use as a rubbing composition and having antiseptic properties. The isopropyl alcohol gel of the present invention comprises a polymer, water, isopropyl alcohol and a polymer neutralizing agent. The polymer is dispersed in water to create a thick phase. The preferred polymer is a carbomer resin that forms a slightly gelatinous mass through hydration of the polymer. The selected amount of isopropyl alcohol is added by dispersion to the polymer-water phase. The mixture is allowed enough time to fully hydrate. A neutralizing agent is thereafter added to neutralize the activity of the polymer. The neutralizing agent is preferably tetrahydroxypropyl ethylenediamine. The resulting product is in homogenous heavy clear gel form.
