This disclosure may generally relate to additive manufacturing operations and, more particularly, to systems and methods for three dimensional (3D) printing a sealing element. Specifically, examples of the present disclosure may be implemented to manufacture a sealing element which may be disposed in a wellbore to seal off a portion of a well.

Sealing element

An indexing apparatus for use with a downhole tool may include a tubular body and a mandrel. The tubular body may have a first end and a second end. The tubular body may also have a plurality of body detents on the second end of the tubular body and a recess in a surface of the tubular body. The mandrel may include a plurality of mandrel detents on a surface of the mandrel. The mandrel detents may be sized and shaped to engage with the body detents on the second end of the tubular body. The indexing apparatus may also include a cam sized to be received in the recess of the surface of the tubular body and a spring coupled to the first end of the tubular body.

In accordance with some embodiments of the present disclosure, a high pressure regulation system for a ball valve used in a wellbore is disclosed. The high pressure ball valve includes an outer wall, an inner wall disposed in the outer wall, a tubing defined by an inner diameter of the inner wall, an annulus defined by an outer diameter of the inner wall and an inner diameter of the outer wall, a lower chamber formed in the annulus, and a relief valve fluidically coupled to the lower chamber. The relief valve is to control a pressure differential between a pressure in the lower chamber and a pressure in the tubing.

High pressure regulation for a ball valve

A ball and seat valve for high temperature and pressure applications, such as those used in isolation barrier valves in subterranean wells, is disclosed. The valve incorporates thermally fitted sleeve into the ball and/or the seat to allow for greater pressures and temperatures due to resultant stresses left with the parts due to interference. Additionally, the materials making up the sleeves may be chosen to allow for greater resistance to corrosive and erosive wellbore fluids.

A well tool having an actuator sleeve in a housing. The actuator sleeve has an internal shifting tool engaging profile. The tool has an actuator in the housing that is responsive to a remote signal to change from an unactuated state to an actuated state and shift the actuator sleeve from a first position to a second position. A collet in the housing is supported to couple the actuator sleeve to the actuator while the actuator changes from the unactuated state to the actuated state and is unsupported to allow the actuator sleeve to move relative to the actuator when the actuator is in the actuated state.
